Great Picture!! A good combination product.
I have this TV over a year now and the TV still works great.Picture quality is great for the price and DVD is easy to operate. No additional wire or connection required. Just pop in the DVD and it plays automatically.The sound quality can be improved but still good for the price.I lost my remote and contacted customer service for a replacement. The lady was helpful and the replacement remote came 4 days after placing the order. Top to learn more

Sansui 32" 780p with DVA
The Sansui 32" digital TV with DVD player was a nice find for me when my wife was ill and I was looking for a bedroom TV. Before we had a cable signal, we watched DVDs on a nicely built DVD player that performs flawlessly. We have a larger screen H.P. 1080i digital TV but the picture on the Sansui 720p actually looks sharper. A minor drawback is that the maximum sound level is less than loud. While it is adequate for our needs, some people might want greater sound amplification. Another minor drawback or feature, depending on your perspective, is that the remote has small, closely spaced buttons. This is OK if you have a small or mid-size hand. I paid $420, plus tax, and consider it a bargain and would buy it again. Top to learn more

I order this Sansui HDLCDVD 325 32" 720p LCD TV on 5/5/09. The price is $450 but with delivery fee total is $522.97, instead of waiting for delivery, you may buy in local store cheaper and faster. The TV with DVD player is not that heavy, you can carry easily and very convenient to use the remote and watch, may be I use roof antenna, some channal i.e. CBS is blurring. For small room is great to have it expecial to watch DVD movies. Top to learn more

Better Than Excellent
I purchased an Akai 27in LCD flatscreen/DVD combo about a week ago and I have been astounded by how good it actually is. The screen clarity is what first caught my attention when I saw it at COSTCO-- yes it is hooked up for HDTV when it is on display and there are warning stickers placed on the shelves to let you know that a regular DVD will not be as good as HDTV. (This item was not available on Amazon at the time).I purchased it for use as a computer monitor when I found that a 21 inch monitor I'd just bought really wasn't roomy enough for true side by side viewing of webpages.. I returned it and had to pay a 15% restocking fee but I'm sure glad I did and went straight over to purchase my Akai. I have been having a great time watching all my old DVD's because it brings them to life as if I am watching them for the first time.One of the most amazing things about this monitor is just how stunning the brights and whites are-- especially when watching a live... Tech Talk Component Video Input: You'll get great picture reproduction from compatible DVD players or cable/satellite set-top boxes using the three-jack component video (Y/Pb/Pr) output, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections.

ok tv but nothing special
This tv is convenient because of the built in dvd player but it only has an ok picture. The black levels are poor and become washed out at times. I use it in my personal gym while doing cardio so it's ok for that purpose, but I wouldn't want it for my main tv. The picture just isn't good enough. I'd say the best thing about this tv is the price!Also, I hear the slight buzz people mentioned but it doesn't bother me enough to warrant a return. Top to learn more

Solid TV
I bought this TV from Aldi's when it was on sale. I was worried about the quality, but have to say that I am very happy with it. I use it as my second TV in the bedroom. The HD picture is beautiful. However, to be picky, the backlight is not completely even and the blacks are not as black as most more expensive TV's these days. Then again, for the price I paid, I did not expect Sony or Samsung quality. PS3 games also look gorgeous on this via HDMI. The speakers are fairly weak, I had a leftover set of computer speakers which I plugged into this TV and it sounds great now. If anyone has a region hack for this, I would appreciate it if you could post it. Top to learn more
