Absolutely stunning!
The picture does not do this journal justice. It was shipped out quickly by the seller, packaged safely, and internally wrapped and tied up nicely for that extra touch. The paper is unlined, but a removable, lined sheet is included to use as a guide under each page. The leather is thick and rich. The color is a warm purple, and the embossing is deep and well-defined. I will use this for years to come by inserting a new journal after each journal is complete. This easily could become an heirloom. I would without question highly recommend this product.

great quality
I got this for my girlfriend as a gift. It's very nice and better quality than anything I've seen in the chain stores. I'm sure it will last a lifetime or longer. Her only complaint is that it is a little on the heavy side, so she doesn't like to carry it around with her.

Beautiful Journal
Bought this as a gift for a family member who wanted a new journal. She likes butterflys so I knew this would be perfect. The photos don't do justice. This journal is extremely well made and very pretty. The color is a nice purple and the silver tie down closure is well made. This gift was a hit with the recipient and her sisters. All thought it was great and one of them hinted she would "really like" something like that very much.

The journal is accented with a solid pewter butterfly button, which an attached rawhide cord loops around to securely fasten the journal closed. Within the cover is a replaceable 5.5" x 8.5" 208-page hard-cover book of heavy bond acid-free unlined pages, perfect for recording sketches, notes, diaries, dreams, poetry, musings or your personal works of literature. Once the pages are full, it may be refilled with a new blank book, allowing the journal to be appreciated for a lifetime.
