Well madet tools!
I now own two sets of tools by KR and I love them all. These stay in the house so I always have inside tools at hand and I no longer have to rummage out in the shed for the long lost pliers! These have come in handy especially in hard to get to places because of the handy offset style of these pliers. They may feel a little awkward at first because of the offset bend but for the right application they are just terrific. Very sturdy construction and comfortable grip. Don't let the cheap price fool you, these are really nice tools.

Great tools with one complaint
Here's what I liked about the tools. These are heavy duty tools that command confidence in high load work situations. Simply put I'm not worried about bending one of them. They're tight which increases precision. They have very good grips with knobs that work well in wet or humid conditions.Even though these tools are redundant for my tool chest I still prefer using them over there straight handled counterparts. For most jobs the angle head is more comfortable to use.One concern. One of these tools developed a small rust spot on the head without heavy use or scrapes. It appears to be a slight manufacturing defect. I don't anticipate this being a problem but it did raise my concerns.ConclusionI would recommend these as a gift for someone that like to work with tools.

Unique tools to help in tight places
The thing that makes this set of pliers unique is the offset design of each of the tool which allows you to reach and grip what you are working with even in small spaces, even though the tools themselves are quite long. The head of each tool is angled at about 30 degrees away from the handle which means that you only need a few inches of space to get the head into a space rather than the entire length of the tool (which range from 7 - 11 inches). The offset design also allows you to get really good leverage on the tool when you need it, although you this also means that they feel a little different to us. Finally, the quality of the steel seems to be very good (you never really know until you put too much stress on something... but it does come with a lifetime guarantee) and each tool has a comfort grip handle.I don't know if I would recommend this as the only set of pliers you should have and only time will tell about the quality of the grips and steel, but I would...
