We had to put a hard pillow underneath him so that our baby could enjoy it since he isn't quite tall enough to use it properly. He is 4 months old and approximately 17 lbs and 26 inches. He already figured out how to turn himself around in the 360* chair, although not perfectly. He loves the mirror on it and loves that he can bounce a little. There is a nice tray for holding a small favorite toy or a pacifier (or food, perhaps?). The chair also has a nice little shelf on it which helps to stabilize little babies in the upright position. It was easy to put together and only required a screwdriver when opening the battery compartment. It plays sound and music when it bounces. Was very well packaged. Above all else, our baby really enjoys his new Jumperoo. Side note: we try to mostly avoid batteries with our son, for various reasons--mostly due to annoyance of repetitive songs--but this is one of those toys that you don't... Top to learn more

I did not buy this through Amazon. I actually bought one used. But let me tell you my son loves this thing. He sits in there for a half hour at a time bouncing away!The music is not super annoying. It is easy to get apart and clean. It is big but most bouncer are. We take it outside and let him sit in there to. It is very stable. I highley recomend it. My baby is 6 months old and 17 pounds. Great Playtime
Wonderful playtime! My granddaughter loves to bounce and turn around to play with all the "stuff" It is safe and provides good exercise, and is adjustable in height. Love this tub!
After trying 2 other tubs that were HORRIBLE, we tried this one. Our daughter is 5 1/2 months old, and can sit up fairly well. She's about 18 pounds and very long, so having enough space for her legs was an issue. We found that the other tubs we tried weren't long enough, nor were they very comfortable. She ended up with red marks all over her legs and back from other tubs, but this one was wonderful! There's enough room for her to sit up and splash and play, and there's still room to grow. And it does NOT leak like the Safety 1st 4-in-1 bath station, which we also have. I cannot rate the newborn/infant side of the tub, since she's already outgrown that stage, but the older baby side is definitely the best I've seen so far.

Really like it!
I just got this tub and our 2 month old loves it! Whenever he's crabby at night I just fill this up and he stops crying as soon as he lays in it. He looks so comfy and he could just fall asleep in it. He doesn't slip around either so I don't have to worry so much. The only problem I have is that when it drains the soap builds up on the sling part, but I just spray it off with the faucet sprayer and wash it after every few baths.

After reading all the reviews on this site, I was a bit confused since Amazon has lumped together the reviews for several different types of swing in one area. This review is specifically for the Starlight swing.First, Amazon gets bonus points from me for getting me the swing in three days even though I chose the free shipping option (and I live in Hawaii!). I was so glad I didn't have to wait nine days for it.I have to say, I love this swing! It was easy to put together. It didn't take more than twenty minutes to assemble, which was fabulous since my baby was eagerly awaiting its completion so he could hop in it. He's almost four weeks old and has always been a difficult sleeper, so I was hoping this swing would be a lifesaver for me.So far he hasn't fallen asleep in it (although he's only tried twice), but if I get him to sleep and then put him in it, he sleeps so much more peacefully and a lot longer. Baby and I like this Swing
I recently received this swing as a gift for my 2 month old preemie. She LOVES the lights, the rotating stuffed animals, and the sounds. And she seems comfortable in the seat too. The seat snaps into two positions, a reclined position and a sitting position. Additionally, you can set the swing up to go from side to side or forward and backward.I did have an incident last week where we had some power surges here in the neighborhood WHILE we were using this swing. When the power came back on, I tried all the different switches to turn it on and it didn't work, then later on, it finally did work. This swing has so many switches on it and I admit to being too lazy to read the instructions for all of the functions that each of the switches perform. That said, I don't know if the failure was user error or a quality issue. Just a little info on the "fire hazard".
This swing uses a dc motor which all dc motors spark due to the commutator brushes that are installed and are required for the unit to run. The swing uses either 4D batteries or the ac adapter(transformer) which changes the AC power into DC power for the swing to operate. The sparks are totally normal and should cause no alarm. The brushes are made of carbon material which do have a smell to them kind of like a burning smell. If you have a power tool plug it in and smell where you see the sparks. I have no doubt that you will smell the same smell that you do from the swing. Believe me I am a father of 3 and I would never do anything to place my children in harms way. However, Fisher-Price could do a better job explaining this to customers and this would solve alot of concerns. I have been an aviation mechanic for 15 years and typically see this in all DC motors. Great Jumper
This is a fun way for a little baby to strengthen their legs and this jumper had lots of activites without being cluttered. It has enough toys to capture their attention and is great for height adjustment. We have a 5 month old who is 27" and he can just touch the floor and bounce. Jumping fun!
A jumperoo is an essential part of what I consider "baby gear". It occupies the baby's time and allows them some independence in playing when they cannot move as much. We picked this model just bc of the fish design. The quality is great, it held up just fine! I recommend these to all of my mom-to-be friends. If your budget is limited, this might be better than a swing! We only used a swing for the first 3 months. The jumperoo has been in use for the last 8 months. Now he has grown out of it. The seat is washable and easy to get on and off. We only had to wash the seat once though! The music isn't annoying, I think when you become a parent it is easier to tune out such noises anyways. Love this swing!
We purchased this swing when my son was about one month old. He loves it! He really likes the bright colors of the mobile animals and used to stare at them in amazement. As he has gotten older (he's now over 4 months), he gets bored a little more easily, so he doesn't like to stay in it for as long as he used to. I usually use the swing when I need to get things done around the house and can't take him along - like cook meals. I'm sad that he's quickly approaching the weight limit of 20 pounds (he's a big kid), so we won't be able to use it for a longer period of time.We bought this particular swing because of the bright colors, its ability to be plugged in, and because it can swing both side to side and front to back. We also liked the music choices. Most of the songs are easy to listen to and won't drive you crazy. There is even one choice of just animal sounds (birds chirping, etc). An Excellent Buy
We purchased this swing for our newborn son based on the fact that my wife uses one at the daycare she works at. Perhaps the biggest selling point for us was the fact that you have the option of using a plug-in adapter or batteries. Since just about every other item used for a baby takes batteries, it was nice to finally see a product with an A/C adapter. Other features that we like are the side-to-side or front-to-back swinging option, the wonderful mobile which features up-and-down movement, and the music/rainfall noises. All of these options work independently of one another, which makes this product even more appealing. We haven't had any problem with the swinging (or lack thereof) that others seem to be having. Sure, the swing doesn't move very fast, but I don't think my son is quite ready for roller coaster speeds just yet. Motor Lacking Enough Swing Power
I purchased this swing for my 4 month old daughter. I was enticed by the fact it was the only one I could locate that could be plugged into an outlet and work off household electricity rather than battery power. I imagined this would make the "swing" consistantly a better "swing" as there would never be a weak power source. The first swing I brought home from the store was assembled (which only took about 15 minutes) and plugged in. I was immediately disappointed by the lack of swing, and eventually my wife and I determined that there was definitely something wrong with the swing, because even with no baby the swing would stop swinging then slowly...and barely swing again. I returned it...and purchased another. I agree with the other reviewer that it just appears to take awhile for it to "warm" up. This seat is for our 3 month old daughter who weighs 15 pounds. First, I'll point out the pros of this bouncer seat. The music is wonderful. The waterfall is captivating. The colors are mesmerizing. She can sit in the seat for 25 minutes easily. The seat takes 4 D-size batteries. Unlike other bouncer seats we have used, there is only one compartment for 4 D-sized batteries. Unlike its predecessor (the Ocean Wonder Aquarium), the Rainforest bouncer keeps our child AWAKE. If we wanted our child to sleep, we'd put her in bed, not the bouncer. So Fisher Price definitely got it right this time! A++!The cons is that the seat was used twice before it started to make this loud clicking noise from the bar. Being an engineer, I took it apart and noticed that the gears are designed to click (or skip a gear) if a child were to grab the frog or the monkey while it is moving. Great seat for baby!
We've had this for a few months now, and it's still one of the "go-to" items in our house. Our daughter enjoys the lights and music and is challenged to reach the dangling toys with her hands. She also loves to prop her feet up on the bar;) The only minor gripe I have is that you cannot lower the volume of music and have it stay that way - if the music stops, then when it starts again, it pops right back up to regular volume. Same song, different verse
Reading these reviews is hilarious -- everyone's comments, for the most part, reflect ours. We received the bouncer as a gift so aren't so concerned about getting value for our money. But we agree with/have noticed the following:1. It does get too loud. We've put masking tape over most of the speaker holes. Function before fashion.2. Our frog clicks too. I sort of bent it outward (away from the frame) and the problem has been resolved now for several weeks.3. The vibration of the battery box is BAD. I will try the idea of taping it up somehow to the underside of the seat. We have arranged a temporary fix by putting a firm sofa cushion under the front edge of the chair to support the box and muffle the vibration.4. The toys are WAY too low. Our daughter is just now three months old and she's been hitting her legs on them for weeks. We will be cutting the parrot off this weekend as it's the worst offender.5. You... Top to learn more
