The previews reek but the movie ROCKS!
After seeing the previews, I had *very* low expectations for this movie. A friend who had already bought a ticket for me (without me knowing) dragged me along anyway, and I laughed so hard, I was crying. It's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen--and I've seen a lot of movies! The previews only show the basic premise of the movie (think Cannonball Run) and a few moments taken out of context that just don't do justice to the intricate webs of jokes that turn out to be setups for even more funny moments later.It has a great cast--Jon Lovits, John Cleese, Whoopi Goldberg, Cuba Gooding Jr., Seth Green, Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) just to name a few, and they're all at the best I've ever seen them. Sometimes movies with such a cast of well-known and diverse people, they either 1) don't have the chemistry to work well together or 2) each subdue their "type" of comedy to blend in with the others. Rat Race...HILARIOUS!!!!
Rat Race is one of the funniest movies I have seen in a while!The Plot- A bunch of people selected by winning a special coin while playing the slot machine at casino in Las Vegas are selected to do a once in a lifetime job and race to find 2 million dollars in a locker in Silver City, New Mexico.The stars of the movie are in such a hurry to get the two million bucks,that they do some very stupid/funny things to get the cash.The whole movie is very funny and not dull or boring one part of the entire movie.The reason I gave this DVD 4 stars is because the deleted scenes, I personally thought were not that exciting. Just remember, that's my opinion. You may love them, but I'm not that crazy about them. This is an awesome knife for the price (as cheap as $24!)
I own many, many knives. However, of all the knives I own, there are maybe 2 or 3 that I would call "a steal" for the price. Sure, you can pay $100 for a knife, and you will (hopefully) get something with a great quality build, lasting construction, and a fancy blade steel. But it is truly rare to find a knife that should be $80 (by my estimation) selling for $24.Compared side by side with much more expensive knives (Spyderco Delica FFG, e.g.) this knife tows its own. First, it's built like a tank. It has a stout blade with a working tip that you do not have to worry about breaking. The blade itself is heavy and stout, and does a great job slicing. Furthermore, it has thick steel liners throughout, which really makes this knife the most heavy duty folding knife I own. There is absolutley no blade play at all since there is thick metal post around which the blade rotates. There is just no tolerance for blade play. A large knife with a good handle and a sharp blade
That shouldn't be too hard to find, but full-size knives often have one or all of the following: - A blunt blade bevel. - A stupid "kewl dood" handle shape which isn't so good for its only purpose. - Flimsy handle liners.This knife is the opposite of all 3 of those common flaws. The thick blade steel is beveled down to a very sharp edge, and the continuous flat-ground bevel is great for slicing through things. The curves of the handle make a comfortable grip, and the edges of the handle are even rounded well. The liners are nice and thick.The pocket clip can be moved to any of 4 different positions (up/down and left/right).The design is a legitimate original from Ontario, not some lame knockoff of another brand.In addition to the screw at the blade pivot, the handle has 5 more screws holding the handle together for a more reassuring construction. Best Folder for the Money... PERIOD!
First off, let me address the LIAR that posted that these are "junk." He is not only a Liar, but clueless as well. First of all, these ARE NOT MADE IN CHINA! He lied about that with ease. And to prove that he is a liar and not just mistaken, The knives are all stamped "Taiwan" on the blades, and the boxes say nothing as to where they were produced, so no chance of a slip-up, he just flat out lied!Next, Randall does not make these knives, and has not been involved with Ontario knife, this design, or its production for YEARS! These are produced by Ontario Knife Co.Now onto the knives. I own a half-dozen of these and they are completely solid, extremely well built, use good steel, and are razor sharp right out of the box. Hell for stout
I don't know what the other reveiwer that called this thing "flimsy" is smoking but it's not legal! Best knife under [...] I've ever seen. Good steel, great lock-up and awesome deployment speed! Clip can be moved for any style carry (i.e. right or left hand tip up or down) If you want more in depth info check out nutnfancy's review on youtube. He has another one called "stabbing protocol" where he thrashes on it hard and it takes it fine (Thanks Nutn!) Only one hit, it's a bit slick in the grip. BUY IT

great knife
This knife i purchased is built like a tank and locks up as tight as a bank vault. contrary to what other reveiws have said this is not a cheap "china made" knife. though it is made overseas in taiwan, the quality control seems to be good on the knife i bought. the blade steel takes a razor sharp edge fairly easily and holds that edge pretty well in my experience. the only negative things i have to say about this knife are that the black finish used is basically black paint and wears easily, and the knife is a tad on the heavy side. bottom line...this is an excellent knife, buy one.

I also as one reviewer stated saw Nutnfancy's review on this knife and totally agree with his praise. I have knives far more expensive and this knife sits next to them with no pain. I was so impressed when I opened the box. The quality is beyond it's price. I do believe the reviewer who gave this a poor review must have gotten the wrong knife. It does lock up tight as a drum and the action is FAST!. It is a bit on the heavy side but I like a heavy knife. It just gives it a more substantial feel.So for those of you who don't want to break the bank for a knife that no one will believe what you paid. BUY IT! You just won't regret it.Apparently when the Rat 1 first reared its nasty head the selling price was a bit over 80.00 but I've seen it for as little as 28.00. If this knife sold for 80.00 I wouldn';t question it.

Little Giant
This is a well made knife, my selection being of 1095 steel with Micarta scales hexed on a full tang tool. I have always liked 1095 steel for knives, and when tempered properly and kept oiled and sharpened, does what I deploy it to do within the limits of the specific blade's structure.I did not like the edge that came with the blade from the factory. That was easy enough to remedy, and does not subtract from the fine US workmanship that went into the tool nor does that fact distract from the quality of the materials used. It just means the factory edge wasn't to my liking, which is usually standard for me anyway. Factory edges are, well, factory edges.The knife has good heft for such a smaller knife, and for those with big hands like myself, knowing how to palm the handle allows the blade to be worked proficiently. Three of my fingers pretty much engulf the entire handle. I have never found this to be a detriment when using a blade of this size. It will...

Big things come in small packages!
Big things come in small packages! Don't let the pictures fool you this small knife looks even smaller in person. If I were to see it in a display case I wouldn't look twice if you know what I mean. But, I saw one at a gun show for a resonable price and said what the heck. Since then it has become one of my favorite knives to carry. I was amazed with the quality and the blade was great. It is at home skinning game and even batoning (smaller pieces of wood of course). There is no one size fits all knife, but this little knife has its place. Don't judge this book by its cover!

You will need a rat habitat to house your furry critter, bedding, food bowls and sipper style water bottle, fortified fancy rat diet, chew toys, exercise ball and wheel. The dumbo rat just has bigger ears than the fancy rat. If taken the time, rats can learn their name and come to it. Unfortunately, rats do have an odor to them. You will want to buy your rats in pairs so they can keep each company when you cant. You should buy rats in same sex pairs or you will have a bunch of rattie babies. So if your not to keen on small animal odors then rats may not be for you, or any other caged animal. Their tails might not be the cutest thing to look at but they help the rat to balance themselves. When you tell someone your contemplating obtaining a rat for your family generally folks’s first reaction is this weird look on their face and they say “Yuck. It was pretty hard to buy her "sunny-side-up" attitude, and I wonder if it was just me, or if other people were as skeptical of it as I was. The Cobra incident was pretty entertaining, but got gruesome very quickly when Isabel shot its head off.

Seriously though you can buy a rat and mice killer,which is treated corn. I guess your hardware or food store would sell it. I think it was called- Rat-rid. there has been no construction or demolition within a 3 block radius and the only change in the area has been that the people below my apartment moved out last week and new tenants moved in above my apartment last month. It is green in colour, and you leave little containers of it,in cupboards,under furniture, anywhere where you think the little horrors will be. The mice love the taste,but then they get very,very, dehydrated,seek water,and die. I put First Bite or De-con out every year just to make sure I don’t have any mice and so far it has worked.
