this stuff is awesome, people
I'm addicted! totally addicted. I ran out this week and couldn't bring myself to throw out the bottle until the new bottle arrived in the mail, hoping I could eek out a few more skin nourishing droplets.you have got to try it! I have insane combination skin, with a forehead that gets so greasy you'd think someone had drained 6 pounds of bacon on it and cheeks that get dry, red and patchy if the wind blows a little too hard on them. I dampen a cotton pad with this and stroke it across my skin, and the results are amazing - cheeks are softened, forehead is cleared of shiny greasiness and relieved of the bumps that can so often be found there. it's alcohol free and doesn't dry out my skin, either. the smell is an artificial rose smell, which may not be for everyone, but others have remarked that it has that clean soap smell instead. the last bottle I bought lasted me for about 9 months of once daily swabbings, plus whatever portion my daughter has used, so it's also a...

Amazing!
This is a wonderful toner. It moisturizes without drying, soothes sensitive skin, and the rose smell is delicious. It feels luxurious to apply in the morning to start the day, for a calming lift in the afternoon, or a relaxing way to prepare for sleep. A small amount goes a long way, so I've been surprised by how long a bottle lasts. I can't think of any way to improve this product.

Thayers Witch Hazel-Rose Petal alcohol-free toner can also be used to clean your makeup brushes. It contains some of the essential ingredients found in a popular makeup artist brand of brush cleaner...witch hazel (a cleansing ingredient) and grapefruit seed extract (known for it's antibacterial properties). Glad I tried it!
I'm in my 30's and by no means have "mature skin" but decided to try this toner anyway and I'm glad I did. I've been using the Burt's Garden Tomato Toner and switched to this one for the winter months. So far so good. The smell is pleasant and doesn't linger.

Fantastic Toner
Burt's Bees is the only toner I use anymore (this one along with the tomato one). It is great for sensitive skin, great for improving skin health, and smells amazing. It's a little expensive but it lasts a while and is gentle enough to be used every day. I can't say enough good things about it.

A definite must have!!!
I have combination skin and am very acne prone. I started shopping around for a good toner in my late teens once I started seeing a dermatologist. My dermatologist recommended that I add an alcohol-free toner to my daily routine. I stumbled onto this and REALLY liked it. My skin began to clear up so kind of dropped off my skin care routine.When I started having problems with my skin I picked up but I didn't consider using the toner because I was not aware of the benefit it adds to my skin. Once I researched what toner does for your skin, I decided that I wanted to purchase this product again.I am now 25 and have been using this again for several months, I am very pleased with the suppleness, smoothness and the texture of my skin. Although, I still have blemishes from bouts of acne breakouts in the past. I know these will heal with time. My skin feels so much more refreshed and never feels overly dry or oily...which is normal for anyone with combo skin...

I actually like the bottle design
Like most reviewers, I agree that the toner itself is great.I mostly just wanted to talk about the bottle design. I was really afraid to buy this because so many reviewers said the opening made the product hard to use but nobody wrote about how the opening actually looked. Once you screw the cap off, it basically just looks like the opening of a water/soda bottle. Maybe other people were looking for more of a small opening that you have to shake/squeeze the bottle to get product onto the cotton.However, this was exactly what I was looking for. It makes it so easy to just hold a cotton pad (I use cotton pads, not balls) at the opening and quickly flip down and back up once or twice. So hopefully, this helps for anyone who was concerned about what the opening actually looked like.

Dissappointed with this product
Neutrogena appears to have changed their formula from the alcohol-free toner they made that I liked to purchase nearly a decade ago. The old formula was great at cleaning and refreshing my oily skin without stripping moisture levels. This formula is not, in my opinion, meant for those with oily skin. It is very moisturizing, which many would like. For me, however, it leaves my skin much too oily and seems to aggravate my complexion. I would recommend this for someone with normal to dry skin, but don't feel like it does the trick for those of us with oily skin.

This is a good product, but you can get one 8.5 ounce bottle at Target for $6.19. Three of them would run you $18.57, and Amazon is currently charging $23.07 for a 3 pack. I guess Amazon does not always have the best deals.

Works wonders!
I've been using this product for a few years now, and I wouldn't go a day without it. I have acne prone skin and this stuff really helps to slough off dead cells and prevent breakouts. I actually use it as my main cleanser because soap can be drying and this stuff is very mild. Has a pleasant scent which is rare for a toner! I just use a cotton pad, wipe, and moisturize. Done! Easy. I've noticed a big difference in the appearance of my pores and general skin tone. But don't be discouraged if you don't immediately see results - I only noticed results after a few weeks of steady use (once-twice/day).

Wonderful Toner!!
I have been using this toner for a couple of weeks and I am really pleased! I am 44 years old and I have dark acne scars. These scars have started to lighten up and my complextion have a wonderful glow and clearer look. I don't have any wrinkles but I really have noticed a difference in my complextion. This toner also pulls the dirt out of my skin as well. I don't think the smell is strong at all.

This Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner left my face feeling clean and fresh and didn't dry my skin out like some other toners do. This product claims to reduce the appearance of pores and lines, which I didn't really notice, but maybe you have to use it for longer. Though this toner had a fairly strong medicinal fragrance, I didn't find the odor objectionable and it seemed to dissipate rather quickly after application. I'll continue to use this and see if the appearance of my pores improves.

Olay Oil Minimizing Toner
This is a must have if your skin is oily! I have tried all sorts of products that claim to minimize oil(from cleansers to moisturizers to primers to powders) and this is the first that actually does what it states. I have sensitive, acne prone skin that gets shiny just about as soon as my face dries. Even in the winter when I get dry patches at times, the rest of my face will still get oily, and in the summer it just gets shinier. Now even if I skip foundation my face looks and feels amazing and shine free. It is so refreshing on your skin and I love how it can get the dirt you miss from deep in your pores. Since starting to use this I have also noticed my skin clear up quite a bit(which makes sense, less oil=less breakouts). Even better yet, you cant beat the price:)
