Cute little sewing kit.
I bought this tackle box to use as a box that holds all of my sewing stuff. It's perfect! I use the bottom area to store patches and extra cloth, while putting my needles/pins/thread in the top two levels. The only small problem is that there's no perfect place to put big scissors. I just put them in the bottom anyway though. It's not the most sturdy construction, but I have had no problems with it at all! Top to learn more

Before you buy...
Make sure you know how big this tackle box is. It is very small (see dimensions in the description above). I didn't realize this until I saw it in person at a store. It looks to be perfectly fine, but it was too small for my needs.

Great for crafts
I bought this for my beading projects. I outgrew the previous tool box I used and thought a tackle box would be great! The individual drawers are enclosed so I don't have to worry about the beads spilling out. The top section is big and allows me to keep my beading tools and other bigger items. I am happy with this product - the price and quality have lived up to my expectations!

Good Organization
I have more than four of these and use them to keep beads for jewelry making. They are small which makes them easily movable and each container can be divided into many sections if you wish. Also, each section is very secure if it is dropped, and easy to see what they have in them. I highly recommend this box for anything that needs organizing.

Terrific bag, great find, especially for the price
I bought this bag in early 2010. I really prefer using a soft sided tackle bag after trying a few different things over the years including hard tackle boxes and boxes with stacks of trays/boxes inside, and this is the first new one I have bought in a long time. My last bag was an old soft duffle bag I had re-purposed, this bag is actually designed for fishing. I looked at many bags at Amazon.com, auction sites and fishing gear sites before choosing this bag. For one thing, tackle boxes and bags have gotten very expensive, so price was one of my considerations in choosing a new tackle bag for fishing. For the price this bag was really affordable compared to other bags I looked at. Once I chose which bag I wanted, the best price was here at Amazon, especially with shipping.I fish with bait, lures, flies, and the fish I seek out are trout, bass, perch, kokanee salmon, catfish and bluegill. This bag is great! ...just what I was looking for to hold all of my microscope accessories, including camera, slide boxes, stain bottles, dissecting tools... I love the flexibility in organizing the interior, not like those hard cases. And the storage capacity...there's room for everything, even books! I was actually hoping it to be a little smaller than it is,but it does the job.I was sick and tired of lugging around a larger tackle box all the time.Especially when I didnt use everything in it.I bought the smaller box to carry the bare essentials and it worked out fine.Nice Box.Recommended. We needed a little kid's tackle box for my 4 yr old, and this seemed perfect. When it arrived, I was disappointed by the scuffing and dirt all over the bottom and sides of the box. It looked beat-up, but the inside was perfect and we figured it will get dirty on the first fishing trip next Spring anyway, so no big deal.Hopefully, it will serve the purpose well. Better for Floss than Beads...Good for Legos
This box (Plano 3600 Size Prolatch) has between 6 and 21 compartments (36 if you make your own dividers or take from another box).This is a flat bottomed box with six vertical compartments built in. It comes with 15 movable subdividers, so without ransacking another box you can have 21 compartments. (6+15=21). Each compartment can, in theory, be subdivided into 6 equal sections (with an exception for four at the front). Four of the compartments at the front are a little smaller as they are irregular to accommodate the latch. If you had enough dividers, say hijacked from other boxes, you could have 36 sections.Lid and base are molded separately with a snap together hinge. The catches snap crisply, closing the box easily and securely. (I have three Plano boxes that I have been using for a while now with these latches and I love the latches.) This is a fine little plastic organizer, however, I was expecting it to be 3 inches deep, as listed in the description. It is not. It is about 1.75 inches deep at best. I may keep it anyways, as it was only $5 and I can likely find a good use for it, but it will not work for the intended purpose unfortunately, which was storing some of my sons' larger playmobil pieces. Great for an emergency kit
I actually got the "Pocket Size Fishing Survival Kit" with shipping it came to over $12.00. I found this at a local store and it is much better kit and you get free super saver shipping. This is a great kit with a lot of sinker, bobs, lures and so on. If using for an emergency kit you can throw the packaging out and use a zip lock bag.I wish I would have found this kit first I would have bought it over the survival one and saved myself money and trouble. Some useful items, some not so much
Okay, starting from the outside in:The "tackle box" this comes in is useless (even if the latch hadn't been broken), I threw it away.In the way of lures, there are a bunch of the usual cheap jigs and plastic worms that come with all these kits. If you've ever bought a tackle kit you've already got plenty of these. What you might not have are the two nice spoons and cute little spinner rig that are in here.The selection of sinkers is excellent, with an assortment of split shot sinkers in three sizes plus a couple of sliding "bullet" sinkers I didn't have. The four floats are nice.Most of the 137 pieces are hooks, of course. Unfortunately all of these are too small for anything but bait fish. They do come in a handy little container that will keep them from spilling all over my tackle box. There are also some small spinners and snaps that could be useful with very light tackle. 12kg of drag is alot of drag, this is drag setting for 37kg game rods (80lb) Does not matter how heavy line is along as you do not exceed drag setting of 12kg by using line through rod and scales to set drag and do not exceed the rod at an angler... NITRO:No usually if a rod is rated at 15kg, the drag setting would be 1/3 at 5kg before rod bends to it maximum before stressing rod. I went to few fishing shops and they all said:that line is ok for that rod,don’t think your fault,this rod is too strong,it shouldn’t broke. When I bought shimano T-Curve 200-10 to 15kg rod, I asked the man:give me the right line for this rod. and I use 9kg line with this rod many times stuck on something,it gets U shape but rod never broke. I am 76 and my cousin is 116 kilo so both of us pull the rod and sales person pulled from the tip and we couldn’t broke the rod. If you're using 40lb braid on a 1-3kg rod, even if the reel has a 10kg drag potential, you can still set the drag to two or three lb if you want. You just have to set the line breaking strain it depence on how many lbs line you use. On my surf rod i sometimes tighten the drag way past the halfway mark of the lines breaking strain to pull up a crazy runner. So if rod 15 kg and line is 15kg and our setting is 5kg but we still have 10kg available breaking strain right. There's no hard and fast rules, i use 15lb mono line on a 1-3kg rod, and enjoy having about 3lb of drag. You don't have to be at 1/3 of the breaking strain, no matter what, and be at risk of breaking the rod. I pulled nearly 7kg snapper with 2-4kg whiting rod and line and was using shimano sustain 2500 reel no problem. The angle the rod is held at makes a difference how easily the line drags off too.
