You Might Need This If You Plan to Buy Any Of the Newest 2011 Kindles Except the Fire!
The newly announced $79 Kindle, the Kindle Touch Wi-Fi and Kindle Touch 3G come with an included USB 2.0 cable that you can use to charge your device by connecting it to a computer. But the specs also say:"U.S. POWER ADAPTER SOLD SEPARATELY"So you are going to need one of these if you ordered one of these Kindles and want to wall charge it. I guess that's why they are 50% off. Stamp on an Amazon logo
I received the USB charger in a plastic bag in an padded envelope from UPS. It's a tad bit expensive for a regular USB charger. Hopefully, it's for the quality, not for the Amazon logo. I bought it for the Kindle Touch, which ironically will still not be here for another 2 months.For those of you wondering, the charger has an input of 100-240V-0.15A 50/60 Hz and output of 5.0 V and .85A, so it should work for the foreign outlets that have different voltages. Also, it charges my iPod Touch, so I assume that it can work for most consumer products that need to be charged by the USB. In addition, this is small enough that it can fit with one slot in a surge protector.Edit:Forget to mention that it's made in China.

Why I bought a Garmin Nuvi 2595LMT.I have owned many voice command systems in my car from both Magellan and Garmin. I use my gps in my car and in my truck when pulling my 5th wheel. I had a Magellan Maestro 4050 with voice command since 2008 and decided to look around for a new one with a few more bells and whistles. A valuable upgrade from Garmin
Most of the reviews here are for the 2595, not the 2555 that I purchased. I didn't need voice activation or bluetooth so the 2555 is just fine for me.I have to disagree with the reviewer that says it is slow to find where you are. I am a long-time Garmin user and I think it is light years faster than my old Nuvi model. Although some of the new features are a little difficult to get used to I still think this unit deserves the highest marks. The larger screen alone makes it worth an upgrade from an older unit.It's also great to have lifetime maps and traffic upgrades. Again, that gives this model high marks. My favorite feature on the 2555 is the categorization of places you would like to go. For example, on my old unit I used to have search for and then type in "REST A" to find the next rest area on my route. My 3rd Garmin - New Features and how they worked
This is my 3rd Garmin GPS. I have become accustomed to their user interface and performance, so I can't compare to other makes. I wanted to talk about the new features that attracted me to this unit and how I evaluated their usefulness on my first 3 hour road trip to a location I know by heart.Feature 1 - 5 inch screen. I am older and am having to use reading glasses to see the GPS mounted to the dash. My earlier unit was a 4 inch. I considered a 7 inch Magellan, but when I found out you couldn't install custom POIs on the Magellan, it ruled that one out for me. We go camping frequently and I have all the state parks as custom POIs. I also have truck stops I like to use. The 5 inch display was definately an improvement for me.Feature 2 - Automated voice recognition. I stumbled by TERA a bit by accident. With all the hype for Guild Wars 2 and Diablo III (which I, admittedly, found myself caught up in), I never thought much about my random, spontaneous decision to download the TERA client and participate in the game's Closed Beta.The first thing that hinted that this game could be more than just an excuse to kill a few hours was the character customization. With plenty of races to choose from (including some off-the-wall ones like the cuddly, raccoon-like Popori and half animal, half nature spirit Elin), I literally spent an hour just messing around with settings and creating the perfect in-game avatar. Although the game is, for the most part, well put together, people's views are going to vary greatly. I would like to start off by saying that I REALLY hope this game makes it big in the states. It's got a lot of complaints about certain aspects(that are irrelevant to the actual game play) but is a fantastic game. No Problems, Works as Advertised, and Came With a MicroSD Card Adapter!
So I read some of the reviews about this microSD card and I wanted to chip in my experiences.I purchased mine from Amazon.com via the vendor "MemoryMogul." It arrived at my porch in a small envelope package and did not have any of the bulk packaging that one would find from a retail store. Inside this envelope was just a small plastic case holding the microSDHC card as well as a SanDisk microSD card adapter. This was surprising to me since it wasn't advertised that this microSD card would come with an adapter. I guess that's good in my case since I was going to purchase a separate adapter. I own both the new Apple TV (1080P/2012) model and the Roku2 XS. I found myself doing a side by side comparison of the two products and here are my findings.AppleTVPros: Works out of the box, minimum effort to setup, really easy to use interface + wifi. Can Restream old purchased episodes. Netflix App much cleaner and more superb. Streaming and buffering causes no delays or degradation of picture. This is an elegant and easy to use little box. The interface is pretty, setup is dead simple (took less than 10 minutes from start to finish), and it's fairly intuitive to use. The problem comes in that it doesn't serve a great deal of function, at least for me.Apple TV is essentially 3 main functions in one package. iTunes front end, content/channel provider, and wireless display.On the face of it, Apple TV is a front end for iTunes and allows you to buy or rent content and view it on the box along with previously purchased content. The usefulness of this is based on where you buy content. If it's not iTunes then you can ignore most of it. All the magic from this perspective is essentially gone for videos and even music doesn't work without iTunes Match. I was advised by my accountant/tax lady that i needed to get this, and use it for all my invoicing. features i LOVE about it are; invoicing an able to print, accept payments, deposit on the invoice, when you receive a pmt, it marks invoice paid, an i can e-mail that to my customers, and they can pay the invoice right online with the link in the e-mail of the original invoice.
