This is THE camping guide for RVing. There are others, but this one is tops. Another I recommend is "Camping with the Corps". The Corps of Engineers maintains the best campgrounds, at least for my tastes.

Been using this book for years!
We have been using these books since 1987. They are pretty good and fairly accurate. We always save our personal info about campgrounds and transfer them from book to book each time we purchase a new guide. Think these are the best out there. If you are going to go camping, you need this book.

A Very Handy Guide!
This is my favorite campground finder for the West. It is the best. Period.Who am I and why do I say that? I am an AVID Casita camper who (along with my husband and a dog) has made it my mini mission to camp in every area of the West. While I am in an area I scout out other campgrounds in the area (for future use) and to see if I agree with what Moon's sez. I take notes in the book.What this book is NOT: It is not filled with advertisements. In fact, I do not think it has any. Great Directory
After my bad experience with buying a Woodall's Directory, I feel that there is almost no comparison with the Trailer Life one. This one is so much better in every way. The best thing I like about it is that it is easy to read. The print is clear, the maps are bright and colorful and the information is complete. I like the tabs for the states so they are easy to find. In the Woodall's the states were divided in two sections so you first had to decide which section to page through. Maybe it's because as we've gotten older, we have less patience. I could mention many other features, but mainly want to say that is a far superior directory than Woodall's. It came in just a few days in perfect condition.

Great story, interesting characters
A mystery unfolds in Zion National Park when one of the protagonists, Max, discovers a mummified body in a hidden canyon, apparently murdered a century ago. As the story unfolds, Max and his wife, Isabel, along with a group of newly found friends, uncover Mormon history regarding the practice of polygamy, and the objections of some of the wives of the early Mormon leaders to this practice. I learned a lot about the early Mormon church in a story that held my interest from start to finish. The characters were believable, and the writing was skilled. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a great mystery based on historical facts.

Great Travel Mystery!
I can't wait for another Max and Izzy "adventure" in yet another National Park! I've never been to Zion, but after reading Prey for Zion," it's on my bucket list! I felt as if I were seeing the beautiful vistas described by MacDavey; thanks for a trip to Utah! A witty, adventure-packed, and timely tale!
The author painted vivid pictures that immediately drew me into Max and Isabel's world and made me feel, at times, like I was one of the gang crammed around the table in Rover. This book was both educational and exciting--definitely a page turner I didn't want to put down. I can't wait to meet up with Max and Isabel on their next adventure!
