Fey Pickup Rear Bumper
Arrived promptly, fit and finish was perfect, just liked the one it replaced except slightly better quality finish. One end was slightly twisted, probably due to falling off a loading dock or something like that. It just took a couple of whacks with a rubber hammer after it was mounted to make it look perfect. I'm sure I could have returned it for another, but who would do that? The price was outstanding. I would buy another the same way. I am very happy.

Great product for the price
Just like it sounds. The picture on Amazon isn't the product you get, but if you've done research and read the description, you will know this. Amazon really needs to put the right picture up though. It does not have the reinforcement bar under it so it's not strong and is designed I think for appearance only. Someone hits you from behind it's not going to do much to stop them. For the price, it's a great replacement option. Make sure you get the install brackets or it won't work!

Be sure and get the mounting kit and read ALL the info... Over all I am satisfied with the bumper. I thought my original mounts would work. They would if I wanted to go through the trouble to drill holes then slot them etc etc. The original bumper had an angled brace for more stability to the outside edge of the bumper. The new one would require modification for a fit of the out side braces. This bumper is not the sturdiest thing I have ever seen.It does bolt up well. acc/light package is fine. the metal is thinner than the original. I am satisfied overall though. It is not chrome as the Pic shows. however it is stated that the bumper is black. and it should be able to be touched up easily as needed with spray paint.For the price it works for me.

Great bumper for the money
Nice bumper -- especially for the price. Easy to install. Only problem was the adapter kit. The ground wire on one of the license plate lights was missing. Unfortunately, they use a special clip.

Great price, easy installation
Great price for a step bumper. Ordered the bumper and installation kit and it installed very easily on my Toyota Tacoma. I didn't want to pay the price for a stock bumper. The black bumper is fine with me.

Get ready to drill a couple of holes
This product is very well made and the finish is excellent. The mounting brackets do require you to drill a couple of holes while using four of the original holes on the rear of the Jeep. This is not a big deal but be aware that it is required and will add a little more challenge than the bolt-on easyness of the front bumper. Be sure to look at the spare tire relocation brackets available since my 31" tire did touch the corner of the bumper when closing the back door. I released the air from the tire to 20 lbs but it still touched. We ordered the relocation bracket made by Rampage products which allowed moving the brake light up and the tire up and out over the new bumper. Everything works well now and we are very pleased. Good product.

No hitch.
The iteam shown does not come with a hitch, so do not get it if this is the reason you want it. It is a great buy though, considering the price from the dealership or other web sites. I am disappointed that the hitch does not come with it, but the price and the fact that I had a hitch is why I kept it. The workmanship is that of smithybilt, It does have quality welds and the metal used is of a quality grade. The texture look does make my jeep pop.

Excellent Quality Replacement Bumper
Could not be happier with the out of the box quality of this after-market bumper. The fit was PERFECT on my 1999 GMC Suburban. Everything necessary for a complete, trouble-free installation was included, even though I did not need all of the parts. Given how badly (and rapidly) the factory bumpers rust, there's no way that this one could ever be considered inferior (at half the price)! I highly recommend this product to anyone needing a replacement.

1998 SUBURBAN BUMPER
I found the bumper to be everything it was advertised. It came very quickly and in a sturdy box. It is an exact replacement for the oem bumper on the truck. Hopefully it does not rust out as the oem one does. Getting the main bolts out on the oem bumper is a pain because they are hard to reach, so you just enlarge the rust spots on the old bumper to access them. They are difficult to get to due to the tight space in which they go.The only issue with the install is the main mounting bolts. The nuts won't go down, they only tighten down half way. It comes with both mounting brackets, bolts, light wiring harness and bulbs. Its a great deal for 300.00 with the shipping and brackets, just verify the nuts fit the bolts before you start! I had to use the oem bolts instead of the 4 main bolts that are supplied. All and all no big deal and do not tighten the bolts down until you have everything aligned and if you have the barn doors make sure they open and close properly before you tightren...

After searching & reviewing rear bumpers for my jeep for weeks, I went with this option. I have warn front bumper & rock sliders, so was leaning towards a warn rear, but for 60% higher price & not having clevis mounts, this smittybilt is easily better. Mounts fairly easy, looks great, & has been tested for recovery & came through strong. Highly recommend.

Heavy duty bumper. Appears well made. Weight wise it's a good bit heavier than the matching front bumper, which I have and is very nice also. Much heavier than I expected at approx. 60 lbs. for the rear. Pretty decent finish. Receiver is much better than I anticipated also...

Threaded holes didnt line up with the provided template. On my 2005 TJ I had to drop the fuel tank. Smittybuilt could have been a heck of a lot more honest about the installation.
