Convenient little cable
I'm fairly pleased with this little retractable cable. Fortunately, I had read the other reviews, so I was not surprised by the short length and it works for me. Some things you should know:* As other reviewers mention, this is not a 6' cable. The technical details have the correct 2.5' length, but the description is incorrect.* The retractor mechanism is a little cheap and I've gotten it tangled a couple of times. That being said, I've always been able to untangle it and it has recovered.* The rubber around the plug ends is a good size for iPods and most stereo inputs, but it is too wide for the audio jack in an iPhone. I took a sharp knife to one end of the cable and shaved down the sides, then it worked fine even for the recessed iPhone jack. This wasn't too hard to do, though that cable end doesn't look too pretty now.In spite of these reservations, the cable works well, the audio quality seems fine, and it is small, convenient, and nicely...

Different Amazon vendors give different cables! Cellular 5 Star gave best. Importer520 cables were okay. Item44less were worst
I compared the cable I received with my original iPhone 4 and 3 cables. I cannot tell any differences other than a slightly different feel of the rubber/plastic material along the cable length, which by the way also differs between my genuine Apple iphone 4 and 3 cables. Another reviewer posted pictures on Amazon in which the cable in question appeared to have a slightly wider or larger connectors, but mine are identical in size, and appearance.I am very happy with this purchase and will purchase several more.ADDENDUM April 20, 2011=======================After my initial great experience with the cable (that I ordered from Amazon's merchant Cellular 5 Star), I ordered 3 more cables, and did not realize that the "default" merchant had changed to Importer520. Not an "Apple" cable but VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE! (see my pics for full visual comparison made 4/1/11)
I browsed Amazon for weeks teetering between about 3 different sellers for my replacement dock cables for charging/syncing my iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and 160Gig iPod Classic. I found these cables to be the least expensive of the ones with predominately "good" reviews. There were a few people who said they got the "real thing" when they ordered the cables as "OEM Apple cables", a few people who said the cables were good but not "OEM Apple" quality, and finally there were a few who said to "stay away from these cables" because they tore up easily. I figured I'd chance it and order them. I am VERY PLEASED that I did. I ordered the cables 3/29/11 and was given a forecasted delivery date of 4/4 to 4/7/11. I received the cables today (4/1/11). Shockingly good performance
I bought a bunch of Energizer's AA ACCU NiMH rechargeable batteries to power a halogen bicycle light and LEGO Mindstorms robots. Their performance has exceeded my expectations.The bicycle light seems as bright as it ever was with alkaline batteries, affording good visibility during night time cycling. And stopping play---er, experimentation---with the LEGO robots for recharging has yet to be a problem.However, I do have to issue this warning: these batteries are slightly fatter than standard AA batteries. I tried using them in a Mini Mag Light. After I got one battery in the light's barrel, I realized---too late---that I'd never get the batteries back out. I ended up destroying the Mini Mag Light in order to retrieve the batteries.If your application is cramped for space, beware! If they do fit, expect good energy for a good long time.

works well
this item works well as the ones that came with the car did. I do tend to loose them when i crash the car. i have found that using velcro on the battery door's and attaching it to the side of the body is a more convenient way of attaching the body, but I still do put one clip on the front and back for piece of mind.

Very strong!
I use these to hold the tops down to my traxxas rc cars. When i crash at 50 mph its pretty bad but these body clips keep it together! These are very strong! Also you can use for many other things and rc cars too. I've had them for years and they have still not broken.
