Works great and priced right!
I got this from Amazon because of free super shaver shipping, no sales tax, and it was cheaper than a local discount store.I have no complaints and I've used these to securely hold motorcyles for transport, as well as 3 moving trips of my own and letting friends borrow them for their trips.Rated at 1500lbs working capacity - it's perfect for my general uses.These are nicer than the cheapie ones, because the rubber grip/ends are more comfortable in your hands and the release of the ratcheting mechanism is far easier with this brand. The rubber grips really makes a difference if you've strapped a motorcycle down extremely tight and you need to release that tension - the attention to detail really pays off here.I keep these in my truck and they are an invaluable toolset to keep with you.

easy to use and helpful
I thought these ratchet straps were easy to use and very sturdy. Please keep in mind we were not securing a motor cycle or anything close to it's max limit. We used it as back up security on our top of the car storage bag. We simply put the straps under the cargo bag and secured it to our roof racks. The hooks made it easy to connect the 2 sides and the ratchet action required no upper body strength from me to secure our bag. we drove 800 miles each way without issue!they were easy to tighten and easy to loosen.very happy.

Ratchet Tie Down set 1X15
I used this set to move a piano (gift to my granddaughter) about 100 miles in a 5 X 8 U-Haul trailer. The U-Haul trailer has 2 rails around the sides and front of the trailer with 1" wide slots for securing your load. The slots are only about 1/4" deep so it isn't possible to use a rope to secure the cargo. The 1" wide straps of this set are the ideal size for the slots in the U-Haul and worked well while moving the piano. I only complaint is that the plastic tabs don't stay on very well. They are easy to slip back on when the come off, but you will need to be careful not to lose them.

Not Easy to Tighten.
I purchased these to tie down my bicycles onto the Lund Cargo Carrier with bike attachments. The straps themselves are sturdy and durable, however the "Cambuckle (press, pull tight and release) system controlled with just thumb pressure" didn't work as well as I would have liked. It is difficult to pull tight. I called upon my old boy scout skills and lashed the tie downs with another strap to tightne them up. I recommend purchase of some ratcheting straps instead. Great product even if it made in China.
Before I got these tie downs, I had to hook two tie downs together to span my canoe and reach the tie down points in my pickup. Now with these, they are 15 feel long, I no longer have to mess with hooking two together. Really good padded hooks too. Top to learn more

not bad for the price
I just got the chance to use these yesterday. The straps are light in weight, not sure how they'll hold up in the long run. They did the job, though. Also the buckles seemed a bit fragile. Handy things to have when moving heavy objects
These ratcheting tie-downs make moving heavy objects much easier. Generally, I use them in conjunction with a hand truck, wrapping the object I'm moving several times with the tie-down material and connecting them to a dolly or hand truck. Using this technique, I've moved heavy appliances and furniture up to about 300 pounds single-handedly with no problems.For smaller objects, you might find these a bit long. I also have a set that are 8 feet long, and I find these much better for smaller items. Otherwise, they are really rugged and look like they'll last forever. The material itself is fairly soft, so while being very strong, they aren't going to damage fine furniture if used with reasonable care.Definitely recommended. Top to learn more

Handy tie downs
I used to work for a small independent moving company and we used ratchet straps on a very regular basis. These are some of the better straps I've used. They have rubber pads on both the ratchet handle and the release making them more friendly to use without gloves. They stay tight and have come in very handy for tying down large awkward loads in the bed of my truck, refrigerator, washer dryer, flooring, trees, bushes, etc....Only thing to be aware of is that the hooks are a doubled up piece of @ 3/8" steel so they're a little wide. Not always easy to fit into other hooks and tie down cleats. These are made with a pretty fine fiber so I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to abrasion with heavy regular use but so far they've been great. Top to learn more
