Exellent product, even better customer service.
The pressure washer does its job beautifully. It has a really long electric cord which was one of the requirements for me since I didn't want to mess with extension cords. The hose is actually pretty long too, so you don't have to drag the pressure washer around when you wash your car for example. Just set it in one place and the length of the hose will be enough reach all around.The pressure washer comes with 2 wands. One has a rotating tip and the other one has a tip that can be adjusted for different spray angles so you don't really need to buy any extra tips. It also has a bottle for cleaning chemicals.All accessories, electric cord and hose have their place right on the unit and they fit quiet nicely.Don't forget, it has 1900 PSI which is really pretty high pressure for non-commercial pressure washers. I don't know what's inside the unit, but it just feels sturdy and solid.I don't usually write reviews but what made me do it is AR North America's customer... Top to learn more
This is the one to buy
I did a lot of research on electric power washers and this brand seemed to have really good professional reviews. I chose this particular model because of the long power cord and the long high pressure hose. As extra bonuses you also get 1900 pounds of pressure and everything wraps up nice and neat on the unit. My only concern is the plastic connection for the hose. I wish they would have used brass or steel like what they have on the high pressure connection. I've tested the unit for about three hours. I washed a couple of windows; did a great job. I cleaned my tiled patio; got the dirt out of the grout. I cleaned my car; got most of the dirt, but even a 3000 psi unit can't get it all, it's just a basic fact you have to use some elbow grease to get road scum off. I also tried it on my fence to clean off dirt and moss build up; didn't do such a good job but then again it is a 1900psi unit and for wood you really need at least 2600psi. Excellent value on a very good power washer
Make no mistake about it....you can definitely hurt yourself (or someone else) with this pressure washer. It's capable of tearing up my pressure treated wood deck, so it'll cut through skin too. The comment from another reviewer that you can't hurt yourself with this machine makes me wonder if they adjusted the nozzle correctly....it's definitely not worth the risk to try.The AR118 may not be in the same league as a $1500 commercial grade gas powered washer, but it's very capable for average residential use, and is an excellent bang for the buck. It's small, lightweight, inexpensive, and very portable. It does an excellent job on vinyl siding, patio furniture, concrete, paint and stain removal from decks, and is great at pre-rinsing major dirt off the car, though you'll still need to wash with soap and a sponge to remove the road film. The adjustable spray nozzle adjusts easily from a light mist to hard cutting beam of water. The attachments go together quickly and...

Compact Pressure Washer
Compact, well built,very long electrical cord, pressure is high enough to wash cars and things around the house. The hose could be of a better quality although it is acceptable. The water connection to the garden hose is not plastic but steel just like the connection for the high pressure hose. You are getting a good pressure washer for a very reasonnable price.

Compact, light weight, well built
I am very pleased with this purchase. So far I have cleaned my concrete drive and walk and two decks. This unit seems very well built and quiet. I like that it is light weight and has no messy tank - just connect your garden hose and go. It has a soap bottle that mixes cleaning agent into the stream - but I have not used it yet. Managing the cleaning agent this way means no tank and no messy clean up. The unit's pump only runs in clean water so there is no clogging and no clean up. A great little unit with the capablilty to handle any job around the home.

My first pressure washer
I bought this pressure washer to clean the siding on my house. It is the first pressure washer I've ever used (much less bought) and I am satisfied. It is well designed and relatively easy to haul around.One word of caution to new users: Always point the wand into the air when you pull the trigger. The first burst of water comes out strong and can do damage before it settles down.A tip: To pressure wash a house, you'll probably need to get a "High Pressure Soap Shooter Nozzle". I guess you could get on a ladder to reach the upper parts of your house, but $35 for the nozzle is safer.Also, The pressure washer has a safety feature that shuts it off when it tilts. Everytime you move it, it shuts down. It restarts easy, though. Top to learn more

Great buy
I ordered this just before winter hit and cleaned off a long past due deck behind my house. It started up easily and had more than enough power to strip off long embedded mold. The engine runs smoothly and a few times started on the first pull even when cold.The only drawback to this machine is that the hose is rather stiff and connects right by the muffler. The first time I used it, the hose kinked back and against the muffler and melted through, so I had to buy a replacement hose, which is a much better and more flexible hose. I would suggest to Generac that they supply a better hose and also find a way to protect it from the muffler.Otherwise, a great machine so far. I plan on wearing it out on a bunch of jobs as soon as spring hits!The seller was really fast in shipping it, and it was in great condition. Customer Service Exceeded Expectations
Last year I borrowed a friend's electric power washer, mostly to clean my long driveway. It took hours. The gas powered Generac was much more powerful and the work this year went very quickly. I chose this model based on value and customer reviews. Other reviewers can give you more details on why it works so well.My purpose in writing this review is because of the Customer Service. The Generac hose got a hole in it while I was cleaning my lanai. The hole was probably my fault, because I noticed it had been touching the hot engine for a while as I was cleaning with it. seems sturdy and works well
I don't know why other reviewers are writing that this pressure washer is cheaply made, as I don't think it is poorly made at all. I carefully went through all the offerings at Lowe's and Home Depot and on this site and the construction of this unit is on par or better than any other washers out there. The metal connections are definitely superior to plastic, no matter how you look at it! The spray gun is ruggedly constructed and has survived several drops. The ground-fault interrupter circuit in the plug is a nice safety feature. The attachments are useful and can be changed easily.The only slight problem I had was if the pump hits an air bubble it goes a little nuts. So my advice is to run your garden hose to clear the air out of it before hooking it up. Alternatively you can hook up the garden hose and then just press the spray trigger on the gun (without turning on the pump) and that will let water flow through the unit and clear it of air pockets... Say "Goodbye" to dirt and mildew and "Hello" to clean.
You can do some serious damage with this machine if that's your intent. On the other hand, if you're interested in cleaning a deck, siding, walkway, etc., etc., then this little jewel is just what you need.It's lightweight, powerful, easy to use, moderately quiet, and (most importantly) cheaper to buy than rent one.The only negative is the same one that almost every small power washer exhibits and that is that it can be easily tipped over due to the topside arrangement of the pressure hose. However, if you watch what you are doing, this is not a real problem.Was I surprised at how good this machine works? Yes!Would I recommend it to my friends? I bought this when our other one failed, after reading many articles and reviews. This washer was terrific, being strong, sturdy, and having brass rather than plastic fittings. My only irk is that you cannot keep the flow except by depressing the handle, which for a job of some hours such as mine is a problem. I solved that by tying the trigger to the hand grip with a long twist tie, which was easy to disengage when needed. Problem solved. I recommend this machine Top to learn more
