This exact power adapter comes standard with what Amazon calls now the 'Kindle Keyboard' models (Kindle 3) but NOT with the Kindle Touch and the least expensive model ($79 no touch) now known as plain 'Kindle'. You Might Need This If You Plan to Buy Any Of the Newest 2011 Kindles Except the Fire!
The newly announced $79 Kindle, the Kindle Touch Wi-Fi and Kindle Touch 3G come with an included USB 2.0 cable that you can use to charge your device by connecting it to a computer. But the specs also say:"U.S. POWER ADAPTER SOLD SEPARATELY"So you are going to need one of these if you ordered one of these Kindles and want to wall charge it. I guess that's why they are 50% off. Amazon is trying to take some of the sting out of the deal for when everyone finds out that they need an adapter to plug/charge it in a wall outlet. In the past all Kindles came with the adapter included in the purchase price. Welcome to the new AMAZON! Stamp on an Amazon logo
I received the USB charger in a plastic bag in an padded envelope from UPS. It's a tad bit expensive for a regular USB charger. Hopefully, it's for the quality, not for the Amazon logo. I bought it for the Kindle Touch, which ironically will still not be here for another 2 months.For those of you wondering, the charger has an input of 100-240V-0.15A 50/60 Hz and output of 5.0 V and .85A, so it should work for the foreign outlets that have different voltages. Also, it charges my iPod Touch, so I assume that it can work for most consumer products that need to be charged by the USB. In addition, this is small enough that it can fit with one slot in a surge protector.Edit:Forget to mention that it's made in China.

Best Idea For an Older House
If you own an older house, then you've had the pleasure of changing fuses. In our little house that means groping around in the dark to find a flashlight so I can find the proper amp fuse. Half the time, the end result is a trip to the hardware store. With these installed, all you have to do is open the fuse box and press the button when it trips. No muss, no fuss, and no pricey bids from electricians to replace the fuse box. I just wish Bussmann made more than two sizes.

Works, but if you have a short it might be a one time use...
I purchased this in case I popped the breaker in my kitchen (1 20amp circuit), however it didn't last long.I rewired the outlets in the kitchen to new commercial outlets and in the process one of the outlets the old wires shorted when I had screwed it in.(Tight squeeze, the old insulation must have had some cracks in it and made a connection when pushed into the metal box.)The circuit breaker popped as it should, however it ruined the breaker.Now, if it had been a simple over-load maybe it would have survived. That said, I have to knock a star off because if you have a problem like mine then it's quick $10 out the window(admittedly, I'm glad the breaker was chared and not my house.)

Fast-charges the HTC Incredible
I use my Droid Incredible as my primary GPS car navigator, so I needed a car charger that could keep up with the power needs of Google Maps with the GPS running. The Belkin USB adapter says it puts out 1A, but my Incredible showed that is was only getting a trickle-charge (500 mA) from it, because the Belkin charger does not implement the latest USB charger standard (short the data pins for a fast charge).This charger shows up as an AC charger on my Incredible, and it is able to charge my phone even while I am using it for GPS navigation. Recommended for any newer phone that uses a micro-USB connector.

High Quality Fuses, Well Worth the Premium
I was a bit wary about making the plunge to these circuit breaker fuses due to price and slight hesitation concerning safety. I have since become a whole hearted supporter. I purchase several of these, some to replace circuits on my HVAC lines which had been "blowing" with some regularity. These made troubleshooting the ultimate cause much easier! Note: they are NOT a solution to fused situations where the fuses are blowing regularly. That is indicative of a more urgent underlying problem, but they may be good solutions for trying to troubleshoot electrical circuits, or for circuits that may occasionally have an unusually high start-up amp draw (e.g. due to start/stops due to a mercury based thermostat).

Works like a charm
It's a fuse...it does what it's supposed to do! The quick reset button is excellent. Saves money and time, you don't have to buy so many replacement fuses. It's a big help until I can get my fuse box updated to a breaker box!
