May be the perfect cordless phone
We picked up the KX-TG6512B the other day to try before taking the plunge on a larger system with 6 handsets. Our old Uniden 5.8 GHz system was great, but the batteries on all the handsets are losing their ability to hold a charge and it interferes with our wireless network. I started looking for a DECT 6.0 replacement system but never found one that had all the features we were looking for, but now that I virtually stumbled across the 6500 series from Panasonic it looks like I've found our perfect phones. Here's what I like:- You can customize the banner on each handset. This may seem like a minor feature, but we had gotten used to it on the Uniden and liked it.- You can check the Caller ID on one handset after someone else has already answered a call on another handset. We actually end up doing this quite a bit with our old Uniden phones, but I had read a review of the older Panasonic 6440 phones that said this wasn't possible. I was very pleasantly...

Excellent phones
I know that a lot of people are using their home phones less and less these days because of cell phones - but we still use ours a lot. Believe it or not, my wife was interviewed to be on the Oprah show a few years ago because of the amount of time she spends on the phone:). With her and the three kids competing for the phones, these end up getting a lot of hard use.Anyway, the main problems we run into with phones are typically sound quality and durability.With these DECT 6.0+ phones from Panasonic, the sound quality is truly as good as a corded phone. We live in a 3000 square foot, 2-story house and these phones easily cover that space as well as the yard. We never really take the handsets past the yard boundaries, so I don't know what the maximum range is before these start breaking up. Nice cordless phones for the price
These phones are a great value. I purchased this phone because it does not have an answering machine. I use voicemail, and didn't want to pay for a function or deal with a more complicated phone than I needed. The sound quality is excellent! I love the big caller ID - very easy to see the caller list with names & phone numbers. The voicemail shortcut button is a nice feature. This phone has prominent Speaker Phone and Flash (call waiting) buttons. While you're on a call, a Mute button becomes available, which is very important in my household with all of the kids and dogs! I use this phone in my big backyard, and it has a very long range. The only feature that I'd like to see added is a "Do not Disturb" button to turn the ringer off and send all calls directly to voicemail. However, I can access this feature through my phone company's voicemail system online. Quick review of the Epic 4g Touch
- Updated 10/19/11 -This is by far the best phone I have ever used. My previous phone is a EVO 4g so luckily i got renewed after a year.This is my own personal review based on experiences with my EVO 4g, my friends's ip4 and this Epic 4g touch.By far, Epic 4g touch wins by a mile.Initial impressions:1. Its light as hell!!!!! it feels like you're holding a toy or a dummy phone (this may be good or bad depending on the user, it's really good for me)2. Got this phone on the 16th. Absolutely blown away by this phone!
I got this phone the day it was released via overnight shipping and have been using it ever since (about a week now)- I have been utterly impressed with the device! I switched from a rather dated and rooted original Motorola Droid on Verizon and I couldn't be happier.Pros:-The Super AMOLED (Active matrix organic light emitting diode), which is the newest kind of display technology, absolutely blows any other display away in terms of contrast and color saturation. Great value for a great product
I have been using my new VTECH phones for about a month now--I wanted to wait at least this long before submitting a review so I could give the product a workout and submit a fair review.The phones are light weight but well built; the buttons have a great feel and the display is easy to read. I spent about 10 minutes reviewing the nicely organized and easy-to-understand instruction manual before I was well on my way to programming numbers and setting other features. The sound quality has been consistently good and once you've reviewed the manual you'll find the buttons and features to be quite intuitive.From a practical standpoint, I was looking for a two-station cordless phone that does not have a built-in answering machine as I have voicemail with my phone service. So this phone fit the bill.There are a couple of features I miss from my old phones I replaced--a belt clip (for trips to the garage when I don't want to miss a call) and a headphone...

Best phones ever
We purchased these telephones as a replacement for our old VTechs. We had a problem with our phone system and as a result purchased new phones during the diagnosing phase. Our VTechs lasted over 10 years and, as it turns out, were still working well. So we replaced them with VTechs and glad that we stayed with the same manufacturer. The new phones have all the features we expected and they work great with our phone company's set-up. Easy to create your own directory, retrieve numbers, etc. Most of the functions I did without reading the manual. Very user friendly. You will be glad you purchased this phone system.

Works well for what I wanted, a phone with limited bells and whistles on it.
This is not a smart phone, but I really like it. Wanted something for calling and texting, and not much else. I only use the swing-out keyboard from time to time, but it works very well. Sometimes it swings out on its own, in my purse, which I don't like; but that doesn't happen too often.This phone has a camera, nice sound profile options (vibrate, specialty settings), and a micro-SD slot. I am using a micro-SD to store photos taken with the camera because I had trouble figuring out how transfer photos off my phone into my computer. The micro-SD works great and with an adapter the card can go into the printer to manually transfer photos off the phone.Battery life is good. I was told my phone was refurbished -- so far I am very happy with the quality of the phone I received. The only scratches are the ones I put on, somehow, after 3 months of use! Shipping was free, which is a plus (especially when Amazon ships it themselves)

I was searching for a replacement phone and i found the sidekick, i have always wanted one. The price was good and the item is good.Pros:I got overngight shipping so of course shipping was fastThe Phone came in its original box, new, and came with all extras in great shape.The phone is small and the keyboard is AMAZING!the screens picture is very good.the camera is goodphone has easy to use interfaceCons:Notification sounds dont work because you need a sidekick plan, and tmobile no-longer allows that plan.Names in messaging inbox dont work because of the plan.the internet doesnt work because of the planand video isnt that great.I am very happy with this phone and would promote it to anyone!hope this helped!

I ordered the sidekick 3 days ago and got it today . very fast shipping . the phone is nice it came brand new wrapped in plastic and sealed which was vry nice . the keyboard is great i a can txt much faster . but the call quality is a little fuzzy but well worth the money . i knew it had no internet service to begin with so i wasnt surprised . it allows the sidekick to work much faster without it . i had a my touch 4g before this phone i am so much happier with the sidekick becuz it doesnt constantly freeze cut off in the middle of a phone call so overall i am stress free with this phone vry happy with it . and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a basic call and txt phone . :)..

Terrific phone!
This is without question, the best land line phone I have ever seen! Please look at my other reviews, you will see that I am NOT a paid reviewer to write what the manufacturer wants.This phone does EVERYTHING! Sound is crystal clear. Both handsets and base unit have lit displays. Both have selectable ringer tones and volume. Each has independent "phone books" which can be copied from the base unit to the handsets or vice versa. Both the base unit and handsets have speaker phones. The phone books are super easy to program.The answering system with date/day/time works terrifically! You can select pre-recorded message or make your own. The answering system capacity is 18 minutes or 64 messages. You can select between 2 and 7 rings before the answering system engages.I like that the base unit works during power outages.I especially like the five "speed dial" buttons to phone frequent friends or family with just one button...

I was torn whether to rate this 4 or 5 stars. For my simple needs, it's definitely a 5, but it does have some quirks.Good:Great sound quality. Corded base for power outages. Speakerphone (which works great) on all components, both base and handsets. Access to answering system messages from all components. Functions as an intercom (and very well, too). 100-number phone book, which can be copied between units either in total or one entry at a time, and nine phone number groups that you can give custom names. Five-number quick dial buttons on base. Large, easy-to-use buttons. Uses rechargeable AA's (I *think* - might have been AAA's - standard batteries, anyway) instead of the expensive proprietary kind. Supports up to six handsets.Not so good:Some menus confusing. Direct-access to functions using "#" and a numeric code a joke, to me - I want to navigate to a function using an intuitive menu, not look up a code in the user...

Exactly what I wanted
I purchased this phone a couple of weeks ago, as a replacement for a phone that had issue with the audio. I also wanted to be able use a very expensive headset I have. I have spent hours trying to find the right phone. I don't know what made me have an extra look at this phone, but the more I looked, and the more reviews I read, the more I liked it and I ended up purchasing it. I am using it mostly for my home office, but do use it for the occasional personal call as well.Pros====* It has a good sound, so far I have not had the issues I had with my old phone. I have tried both the handset and the speakerphone, and like both. I particularly like the fact that I can put it on speaker, dial the number, and pick up the phone if I need to, or use the speaker phone. Great Phone, I love it
I have had this phone for about 6 months now and have had NO problems out of it. I read reviews that talked about the screen freezing up but this has never happened to me. I would recommend this phone to anyone.

easy for phone calls, texting so-so
I got this phone a few weeks ago because my smartphone had too many quirks and I have several months before I can upgrade. It works great for phone calls. Answering and disconnecting calls is so easy to do, no sliding like with the android. But as far as texting it is not the best. I like larger buttons and that is why I wanted a slide out keyboard. But the buttons are too small to easily text. I also noticed that the screen is not as sensitive to touch as it should be. Trying to get something on the screen to move or work can be frustrating because it takes some effort to manipulate, move, whatever. The battery is not as bad as some reviewers have stated. It lasts a couple of days with normal use. It is NOT a smartphone so don't expect it to be. But, all-in-all, I give it a B overall.

This phone is great I love it!!! As a teenager I text alot so the keyboard is perfect!!!!! I LOVE THIS PHONE SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! there is one thing I think you should know about this phone though. when I had my old phone i was able to record somethig and make it my ringtone, but on the lg you can only use non recorded things and you cant send someone a song over 1 minute other than that this phone is great!!!
