This device saved me from buying a new television.
I have an older 2004 Toshiba 65" HD projection TV. It has always worked well with DVDs and our area finally got HD television service about a year ago. So now we can finally enjoy our HD television for all it's worth. Suddenly after about 6 months of service we started receiving an error message when we turned on the cable TV. "Your HDMI cable does not support HDCP". More recently I purchased an Apple TV2. After a few months and a software update I received the same message. Apple support told me it was because my older TV was not HDCP compliant. The solution would be to buy a new television, but it seemed ridiculous to waste over a thousand dollars for a new set when this older one works fine. This device solved my dilemma. It works well to bridge the gap between old and new technology. Any HDMI device can be hooked up through this box with RCA style component cables and avoid the HDCP problem. Recommended!

A MUST FOR APPLE TV2 USERS THAT HAVE AN OLDER TV!!!
This thing works great! I bought an Apple TV2 and I have an older plasma TV that has no HDMI hook-ups. I tried an HDMI to DVI cable and the only thing the Apple TV2 did was show a white apple logo on a black screen. I knew that I had to get a HDMI to Component converter box to make this work. Most of the converters I saw were in the $200 to $300 range. Most of the cheaper converters got bad reviews. However I took a chance on this one and the chance paid off. This converter was easy to hook up and the picture quality on my Plasma looks awesome. There is also a second HDMI port on the converter so you can connect another HDMI only product to the TV.

So I got this remember how it was several years back. And you know what? It's as good as ever. The small multitude of weapons and various enemies are always fun to blow into itty bitty bits. I forgot how hard the jump in difficulty was. No health regen, no peak and fire, just you, your guns, and things wanting to kill you. Lots and lots of them.A lot of great written story and in depth background of the various areas and interactions, but it's all about the large battles and explosions and various scenarios you have to try to survive. Buy it if you like old school challenges, buy it if simplicity, buy if it you don't like having to sit for hours waiting for cut scenes and save points.

Serious Sam is a Great game, I ordered this on DVD in hopes of just playing, Wrong this works with Steam, so you have to inrole and then if you need help you have to go and inrole in that phase. Their are no help books. I had seen some place that you can use controler, Not my Logitech joy stick, you have to use MS X box controler.

Even if the title weren't a double entendre, "Balls of Fury" would still be a funny movie. I suppose it's no wonder that something so unnecessary can still be enjoyable; mindless comedies are sometimes a welcome diversion. This isn't to say that all mindless comedies are good. A year ago saw the release of "Beerfest," a film I recommended only for the thrill of watching an awful film trying to work and failing every step of the way. Unlike that film, "Balls of Fury" has actual ambition to be funny, not just through juvenile humor, but also through character development, setting, and plot. This movie is by no means a masterpiece, and I suspect that it will be forgotten fifty years down the line. I actually got this as the playstation download version, so I don't have this "complete" version. But I do feel like I can say with some authority that this game sucks.I still play Wipeout Fusion on my PS2 & it's one of my favorite games, so I thought I would love the PS3 version - wrong! This game goes beyond challenging to nearly impossible. I spent a couple hours just trying to place on one of the 2 (yes, only 2) tracks you get to start with & could never get anything but last place, no matter which ship I used (even when I found the shortcuts). They also only give you the crappiest, most worthless weapons to start, so they're no help in getting ahead. While the previous Wipeout titles also started you off small & had challenges to get past, at least you could make it past a few of them before getting frustrated at hitting a wall.
