Sturdy and Comfortable
When I got ready to get a hammock for our frequent camping trips, I opted for the Texsport La Paz Hammock because it was made of cotton. My previous hammock was a polyester one, and it was very uncomfortable and sweaty. This hammock is a dream. The material is sturdy, the hammock is light and takes up little space. It comes in a handy travel pouch, and it is very, VERY comfortable for one person, or a petite person with a child. If you are looking for a hammock that will fit 2 adults, you may want to look for another one - even though 2 adults may fit, it will not be comfortable. Otherwise, this hammock is a great deal and great for camping trips due to its light weight and convenient travel pouch.

Good hammock, terrific value
This was meant to an occaisional use hammock outside my home office (for those critical brainstorming sessions that could only be enabled by swinging with a drink that has an umbrella in it) but it has become a social focus for the family. My kids love it. It's 10 sec to pull out of my garden bin and hang. 5 sec to put away. If I take it camping it's light and folds compactly. I love it.

really, 4.5 stars
Pros: all the things the other reviewers said, including: Sturdy feel, light, convenient, comfortable, and inexpensive. Cons: I wanted to a star off for 2 reasons: 1) I bought this after it showed up in a search for a Mayan Hammock (to replace an old one), however, despite of similar style, the hammock itself is clothe, and not of Mayan weave. It is still comfortable, but to be honest, the Mayan weave was better (which is just as inexpensive... except for shipping). 2) You can't beat the price, but it should be noted that this hammock isn't meant to last very long (2~4 years). It's all fine and good, since I'd gladly pay to buy another, but they should note that in the description.

Hammock
The material quality is about what you would expect for the price. There are no carabiners included and it instead comes with hooks. That being said it is more comfortable than far more expensive ones. Ditch the hooks, use carabiners. These hammocks do not pinch you inward making it very comfortable. A tip to you campers, use just one line between points (utilize a prusik knot for tension) and let the hammock drape from that single rope. You can now use that same line for your rain fly or your mosquito netting. You save on weight and you don't have to cut your rope. I uploaded video to a popular website (wink) of the hammock and how to use the single line method with a mosquito net! I tried posting the links but Amazon deleted them. Search under "Grand Trunk Ultra Light Hammock" and you should be able to find 3 of them. If it came with carabiners I would have given 5 stars.

Get what you pay for
This is a great product if you are curious about this style of hammock and are skeptical still because you don't know if you will like it. My buddy has a high quality kind of the same style that he takes on every backpacking trip he goes on, that way he does not need to pack a sleeping mat or tent (he also has a rain fly for his that he purchased separately). I never tried his out but liked the idea so much that I searched for one of the cheapest hammocks of this style and this is the one I found. I actually love it, but the ropes it came with are not too practical because they are quite short which limits the versatility of where to put it up, but you can get any other length of rope for pretty cheap almost anywhere that will make this much more versatile. The first time I used it I set it up at a children's park in between the play structures while my brother had baseball practice. I just wanted to test it by laying in it and reading a book, but when I sat in it...

Handcrafted quality, fresh from the Yucatan
I have been sleeping in Rada Hamacas full-time for the last 6 years due to chronic back problems that make normal mattresses uncomfortable. Each hammock lasts about 1 1/2 years of 8 hours a day 7 days a week use before strands start breaking. The single and double sizes are fine for casual use in the back yard in the summertime but the matrimonial size is ideal for full-time use. Family size would be good for 2 people at once and the jumbo size is perfect for when the entire neighborhood needs a nap. If you're not ordering the natural beige, the color selection can be a bit of a gamble. As long as you're not expecting rigidly defined shades the colored hammocks are festive and bright and liven up the darkest of spaces. Every shipment is a pleasant surprise of colors. Customer service and shipping are always top-notch. Rada is eager to please and doesn't shy away from large orders. If you're looking for traditional mayan hammocks, Rada is the place to go.

Reliable and good quality

My New Bed
Been sleeping in this hammock as a bed for about 2 months. Very comfortable when I lay diagonally in it. Very sturdy and stable. Should last for a long time. My therm-a-rest made warm enough to sleep when the heater broke and my room went down to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. The extra room from the doublenest is great even for just one.

I could LIVE in this hammock
I bought this hammock after my brother got into hammock-camping. I only use it for one person, but because it's wider than a single nest, after I add a sleeping pad and my sleeping bag and camping pillow, there is plenty of fabric on the sides to protect me from breeze, or just make me feel like a caterpillar :) I slept in this for a week straight on one camping trip, with a rain fly set up for wind, rain & falling branch protection. I quickly discovered that if it's raining and you lay in the hammock to read & stay dry, it's IMPOSSIBLE to stay awake. It's incredibly relaxing, and this model is very well built. I just bought a second one for my fiance's christmas gift - no more tents!!

Large double hammock
UPDATE: I ended up purchase the Grand Trunk ultralight single hammocks for my two sons, so was able to actually compare the ENO with the Grand Trunk brands. The ENO is definitely a thicker material - parachute nylon - while the Grand Trunk hammock are made a very thin nylon material. But for a hot/humid climate like Texas, the Grand Trunk hammocks outperformed the ENO hammock this weekend (May) while camping. The GT hammocks allowed the breeze to circulate, and actually keeps you quite a bit cooler. I think the ENO hammock will be better in the cooler times of the year, but for the summer - and for this price - the GT is a winner. Also, if you are planning to purchase the "Slap Straps Pro" as I previously recommended - be wary that the tag states that they are for a weight max. of 200 lbs and does not tell whether this is per strap, or for the two straps combined (although the ENO hammock is rated for 400 lbs). Easy to use
This is a set of 2 very simple nylon straps with loops at both ends. The photo shows one way to use them but it's not the best way. I found that by by wrapping the tie around the tree, then slipping one end through the loop in the other (just like a dog choke chain) you can get these to adjust to most any size tree. You will probably need an S hook or karabiner to attach these to your hammock.

Better than expected
Not exactly what I expected, but works better than expected. You can buy an extension chain at the local home improvement store and extent the reach of your hammock even further than the 20' range this one goes to. I extended my range to over 25' with the help of this product. It really came in handy!
