I'm a long-time camper, I've camped in everything from a snow filled forest to 115F deserts with no plant life at all, in sun, wind, rain, etc.The smaller E-Z Ups can be handled fairly well by one person, but even they go much faster with 2. The bigger ones really do need two people to handle.The big question is: will it actually provide you with shelter? Yes, it will. E-Z Ups actually work a fair bit better than many other brands I've seen. In moderate to high wind you will need to tie them down to something substantial - trees, rocks, etc. Unlike other brands, these seem robust enough - I've seen several other brands collapse, and their metal poles and plastic parts bend and brake. E-Z Ups seem to hold up much better. I would suggest replacing the "tent stakes" supplied with the product with something much more robust. I use construction stakes.If you're off camping or outdoors, and there's a chance of rain, you'll probably want one of...

E_Z Up is mostly true
I have seen a lot of "E-Z Up style" tents. This one is one of the better built jobs and for the most part easy to raise. The trick is for the last foot of raising the scissor blocks the legs should be pulled outward at the same time. I would recommend this product for an inexpensive but sufficient cover.

Initial setup - 1.5 hours, after that its pretty EzUp
Maybe call me daft, which is ok, however following the 3 step directions left alot to be desired. First off why don't they ship this thing pre-assembled? Instead they ship it where you have to rig it like a sailboat main sail. After this fiasco where the cloth was all dirty from laying on the ground it took about 10 mins to get it situated where it belonged. Once we did that it was even more difficult to raise it. I know that once its rigged up that it is very easy to pop up but the initial setup was a real bear.Ok, now its put together and every time I take it down and put it up it is truly EzUp! To be honest it can be put up by 1 person. I have seen it done several times. Its safer to have 2 people though especially if you are opening it on grass. Reason being is when you pop it up if one of the corners snag it can bend the whole frame out of whack. Take your time and you should not have any problems or break anything. Spread it apart as far as you can with your arms...

Made it through a rain storm
This tent was used at a festival last summer for the first time. It was a good size and fit 2 tables with plenty of room left in the center for chairs and walking. It also held up through a rain and wind storm.It is a good quality tent and I would recommend it for this price level.

Easy and secure
Very nice product. With the bags, you don't have to lug weights around, plus they much heavier than weights when full. Attachment was easy, filling.. easy (make sure you bring a shovel), breakdown was easy too. Because of the heavy slick material, the sand shakes, and later, washes off with no problem.Best of all, when the bags are full, the tent is going nowhere. It would rip apart from wind before it blew away.

I was struggling keeping my tent in place during windy days at craft shows. These weights were exactly what I was looking for. Just fill them with sand, and you have an instant 40 extra pounds per tent pole. Good, but one problem
I bought this screen with fingers crossed, because I didn't know if it would fit my 10' x 10' slant leg 64 sq. ft. canopy. The answer is yes, it will fit a 10' x 10' slant leg canopy.The screen attaches with Velcro tabs to the canopy frame. It is one single screen which wraps around the canopy. The zipper closes snugly from top to bottom. When I enter, I unzip it half way and bend over to enter, or I can upzip it fully to make a door. There are ties on both sides of the "door" to tie it open. There are holes on the bottom of the material to stake it down.________________________UPDATEWe used the screen during our camping trip and it performed admirably.Two things I would like to note:1. The material on the zipper frays off. It's not a problem yet, because there is enough material before it hit's the zipper. If it keeps fraying, it will eventually affect the zipper.2. The screen fits the canopy...

Good but not the best
This is for the E-Z Up brand model Express II. These aren't as rugged as E-Z Up's commercial grade canopies. I used the Express II as a powwow trader for several seasons and was satisfied. It's true that they collect some rain, but I suspect the other reviewers had a different brand/model, or didn't stake them down - as these canopies are sturdy enough to hang several hundred pounds of merchandise on the frame (but not all from one spot). I have also lost several of these canopies to the weather, but not due to rain. No. Due to wind. Staking these down with tent stakes at the feet is fine for 20-30mph winds. If there's any chance of a storm, then you need to stake them down with guy ropes, or else the whole canopy top can get ripped away, frame and all, leaving the bottom half of the legs staked down. In short, these canopies can serve you well for several years if you stake them down when you're using them, and take them down when you're done. EZ-Up does sell spare parts, including...
