Eichenberger's "Your Pilots License" 8th
I recently bought this book, having owned the 7th edition that I had used quite a lot. This book is not a complete text or study guide on getting the private pilots license, you'll need another book for the real detailed items. However, I found this book to be the best for describing the process of getting the license, including a very good description of the exam process. In other words, what activities need to happen in what order, and how are they handled. It also makes a good review book for the student pilot or even the private pilot for certain materials, such as maneuvers, navigation, traffic patterns or wind correction. So, while it lacks some of the detail of a training book or text, I found it very useful and it was one of the main books I consulted regularly during all aspects of training, and sometime now when I wish to review some aspect of flying GA airplanes. As you might expect this is just a regular plastic frame for the license plate. That being said, it's better than nothing and very cheap. I had a similar one on my Toyota Camry before, but it cracked, so I got this one to replace it.
