Very Nice L-Rods
These L-rods are very well made and reasonably priced. I am more familiar with pendulums, and bought these because I'd always been curious about how rods worked - I realize that this is more a function of the operator than the tool, but still I was pleasantly surprised by how well the rods move in the sleeves, and how quickly I was able to get the hang of using them. I also ordered the mini version of these rods, and like them equally well. While rods don't have to be pretty to work, these are quite attractive and the craftsmanship is impressive.

Well Crafted Dowsing Rods
These rods are perfect for any type of dowsing, from ghost hunting to locating water. The craftsmanship is excellent and will make a great addition to any dowsing/divining person's collection. The rods swing easily in the sleeves. Beginners will find them very easy to use, even on their first try. I liked this set so well that I'm buying the mini set next.

Great L-Rods
This is a very nice set of L-rods, quite well made and reasonably priced. I was so impressed by the copper-sleeved rods (regular and mini-sized) from this same seller that I ordered these wooden-handled rods for a friend with arthritic hands who needs just a little bit more grip diameter and texture than the copper sleeves offer. They're just as nicely crafted as the all-copper sets.

Works Best for Someone with Small Hands
I bought this mini size for greater portability, but wish I had gone with the full size. The handles are too small for my medium-size hands. The rod motion both at the top and the base is obstructed because my hands get in the way. I've tried altering the way I hold the handles, but it's not comfortable and I'm not confident in my readings this way. These rods will be fine if you are someone with small hands. Otherwise, I recommend full-size dowsing rods.

I have been able to “wish a well” since I was a kid and never bought dowsing rods to do it. Some people use a willow branch, but I have always used coat hangers. Take two wire hangers and cut then cut so you have a pair of equal length “L” shaped rods.
