This made my daughter's day.
My daughter is a junior accounting major in college. She dropped her Toshiba Satellite laptop and broke the power jack inside the body of the laptop. We had purchased it with an extended warranty, so I had her ship it back home in order to take it back to the dealer. They told us it was physical damage not covered by the warranty and it would cost between $200 and $250. I found this product on Amazon and decided to try it myself. They shipped it very quickly (I had it in two days via USPS!)It was an exact fit, but the wires were white and green instead of the red and black original and as shown in their photo. It did fit and work perfectly after I installed it. Including shipping costs and shipping my daughter's laptop back and forth, it was still just a small fraction of the store's repair estimate. My daughter and I were very happy!

Solidly made with Plus in the Center Like I needed
The one thing that the description of this product left out was the polarity. Now that I have it I can report that it is + in the center and - one the outside. It is solidly made, should stand up to a lot of abuse, fits snugly into a USB socket and into a 2.1mm/5.5mm power socket. Top to learn more

awsome fix
so my laptop stopped chargeing the only way it would charge if i sat there and wiggled the cord around forever then once i got it in place i had to hold it there. took it to best buy and they told me its the mother board and i would have to send it in for 300$!!! plus parts and shipping yea right. did some research and saw som1 say to change the dc in cord. and it worked! a 300$+ fix turned into 20mins a screwdriver and 7$ thank you so much!
