good outdoor ball . . .
For an outdoor basketball, grip, durability and balance, are probably the most important considerations. Spalding's `Street' basketball ranks pretty high in those key departments. You get a nice firm grip, the durability of the pebbled finish seems to be pretty good, and you get a nice bounce on various types of hardcourts. The grip may not be as good as Spalding's NBA `Legacy' ball, but it is very close. Like many outdoor type balls, it may feel a little heavy on an indoor court. It's reasonably priced, so if you need an outdoor ball, you really can't go wrong with this one.

Excellent Rubber Basketball for Outdoor Play
Ball is well constructed and comes well packaged. Seems durable as well. Note that this is a rubber ball and therefore will be rougher on the hands than an indoor leather ball. I'm happy with it.

Very good basketball.
Let me just start this review out by making it clear that i am a huge basketball/NBA/WNBA/CBA fan. I picked up this basketball and started dribbling it. I was amazed at two things.First of all, it bounces really high and you very rarely have to keep pumping it up like you do with some other basketballs. You can use it both outside/indoors although it is geared for more indoors then outdoors.Second of all, the grip of the basketball is very good, so it won't slip out of your hands. This has been the only basketball that i have actually owned that doesn't slip out of my hands.To wrap things up, i will end my review by making it clear that you should go with Spalding and BUY THIS BASKETBALL!

Great Value for the Price
I bought three of these balls after shopping around town. The stores I went to were sold out of the 27.5 basketballs or didn't sell them at all. Found it on amazon for the cheapest price I've seen. Told my friend's/basketball mom's about it and they wanted in. Worked out great!! We're all happy with these basketballs. They just need to be slightly inflated for better bounce which is common.

Great ball, nice material
I play mostly outdoors on concrete. This ball has good grip and nice bounce but not too bouncy like rubber so you'll get the soft roll. I've only used it about 10 hours collectively but it has retained it's initial quality so far. The logo's don't interfere much with your shot. I'd definitely get another one.P.S. - Read the item description closely. When I bought this ball there was a picture of a Spalding Infusion basketball with the product description-but it's not.

great ball
great indoor/outdoor ballit really feels perfect in your hand while dribbling and the grip definitely helps when pulling up for a jump shot or quickly moving the ball with your hands. It's weight is dead on. Doesn't lose air quickly and has no marks after playing 10 hours or so in the street, then playing a few hours in the gym (not 1 day, the lifespan of the ball so far)

Perfect for schools with blacktop
I teach PE at an urban middle school where the kids play basketball on rough blacktop all day, and before I found this ball, I never found a ball that lasted longer than two weeks. But these basketballs appear to be indestructible, and the kids love them. They look undeniably cool, and they are tough and easy to play with, plus the cover retains its grip.I've spent twice as much on school-supplied basketballs that fell right apart. It works!
We have 4 basketballs and this is our favorite one. WE have only had this ball 1 month but if it continues to do well we will probably have 4 of them in a year or 2. I can see how some people would complain about it coming not quite fully inflated. But we don't see that as a big problem. It is inflated and bounces well. Could more air be put into it? Sure but that may make it over inflated. Remember it is a basketball not a bouncy ball.

The perfect ball for driveway hoops!
I've been using this ball on my asphalt driveway for a couple of months, and I'm still very happy with it. The ball arrived perfectly inflated, and it has remained so even after more than 100 hours of hard play. The ball has a nice grippy cover which is very durable and perfect for outdoor use. I much prefer this type of ball to the indoor/outdoor variety. Those kinds of balls start off great, but they tend to lose their tackiness rather quickly after being used outdoors. About the only negative thing I can say about this ball is that the outdoor cover can be a bit harsh on your fingers after a lot of play. I guess this is a trade-off that one has to make if they want an extremely durable ball.

Game Balls Review
When choosing a basketball to buy everyone tries to figure out which ball is the best and they read reviews to figure out which ball they will be bringing to the gym. I currently own the Wilson Evolution, Wilson Solution, and Spalding Top-Flight 1000pro and have previously owned the NBA game ball by Spalding. The prices are: NBA Game Ball-100$, Spalding TF 1000pro-60$, Wilson Solution-60$, and Wilson Evolution-40/50$ depending where you go. I have played a few times with the Nike Tournament Ball and that is about 50$ as well. Each ball has its different advantages and disadvantages I will try and help describe each one. Best Indoor Basketball
I play basketball regularly, indoor and outdoor, in organized leagues, tournaments, in pick-up games, and for fun. I have played with many basketballs over the years, from Moltens to almost the entire line of Spaldings to almost the entire line of Wilsons. The Evolution is by far the best ball I've ever used. I have been using the Evolution that I currently own for over 7 years now, strictly indoors. It has always had superb grip, a wonderful soft feeling that you dont get with any other brands, and just great feel when it rolls off your fingers. In almost every open gym court I go to, where everyone brings their own ball, my Evolution is always the preferred ball picked by everyone to use.

I love this ball it is the best indoor ball I have ever had the pleasure to play with. Way better than those infusions and other synthetic leather balls. The reason this ball is so great is because of the grip of the ball. Very soft in your hands, you feel in control the entire time. The ball will never get away from you. The grip also never deteriorates over time, that is unless you decide to use the ball outdoors. If your looking for a good indoor ball than this is the ball for you.
