Convenient little cable
I'm fairly pleased with this little retractable cable. Fortunately, I had read the other reviews, so I was not surprised by the short length and it works for me. Some things you should know:* As other reviewers mention, this is not a 6' cable. The technical details have the correct 2.5' length, but the description is incorrect.* The retractor mechanism is a little cheap and I've gotten it tangled a couple of times. That being said, I've always been able to untangle it and it has recovered.* The rubber around the plug ends is a good size for iPods and most stereo inputs, but it is too wide for the audio jack in an iPhone. I took a sharp knife to one end of the cable and shaved down the sides, then it worked fine even for the recessed iPhone jack. This wasn't too hard to do, though that cable end doesn't look too pretty now.In spite of these reservations, the cable works well, the audio quality seems fine, and it is small, convenient, and nicely... There's a better choice...
Not horrible but I bought it at the same time as I bought a much better similar product- .The Cables Unlimited one is much sturdier and a little longer. After using the two, it seems that the Scosche (this product) does not expand and retract as fluidly as the cables 2 go one. I feel like I'm going to break the Scosche one every time I use it. Also, the Scosche one is extreeemely short and I found the Cables Unlimited one to be a much more practical size, especially considering they retract to the same size anyway.I'd definetely recommend the CablesUnlimited one. how is this supposed to secure to the front grill.
I had an experienced professional install this, well try and install it. Once you put the grill on there leaves no hole for you to open up your hood. Not to mention on the last two outer sections of the inside part of the main grill there are 2 bolts that bolt the grill to the frame that can not be fastned once you insert the mesh grill. It was a waste of time becuase he had to take it right back out. Top to learn more

Product Description
This is a 2 piece universal mesh grille kit. The steel mesh is chrome 'like' because it is not true chrome but the shinny finish resembles it. These sheets measures 6 inches by 36 inches.
This kit comes with everything you need to create your own new stylish for the front of your Hummer. It comes with all necessary mounting hardware and instructions to install this grille. With this kit there is no need to drill or cut anything on your car. You just easily trim the provided sheet of mesh to match your grille. Once trimmed the installation process should take about 30+ minutes.
Note: This is not to replace your factory grille, it is simply an insert to change the current look of your car because this grille is simply an overlay. Therefore if you do not have the same front end as the picture this will not work. The mesh grille insert will attach straight on top of your factory grille using the provided wiring harness.
The mesh has a diamond style pattern. This is very popular in the automotive scene. The mesh will not restrict airflow into your engine. The diamond mesh pattern has opens of 1/4" by 3/8". Nice chrome fuel door, maybe the best looking for an H3.But trim paper attached to instructions shows different holes to drill in the plastic factory fuel door, so you discover you drilled holes you don't need, moreover you have to drill them without any help.... Top to learn more
