Lex Luthor (Anthony Lapaglia) had made a plan to poison Superman (James Denton) with solar radiation as the man-of-steel is dying. He has weeks to live as he must fulfill everything he's always dreamed of including revealing his secret identity to Lois (Christina Hendricks) and must do everything he can to live his life through the weeks of dying for he also must do battle against his old foes besides Lex like Parasite (Michel Gough, Atlas (Steve Blum) and even Samson (John Dimaggio).Nicely done adaptation of Grant Morrison's graphic novel is an emotional and exciting Superman animated adventure and one of the better DC animated movies. The designs are quite different on the characters as if they appeared to look more like Peter "Aeon Flux creator" Chung's designs and i also like how this was the first appearence of Superwoman to appear. Superman in his truest sense, with a credible Lois Lane!
This animated movie captures the essence of Superman, and portrays him as what he was meant to represent in the DC-Comics Universe: the most powerful being on Earth.But not only that, we are shown how Superman connects with the rest of the world. It is not just that he is powerful, but how the people of earth have shaped his character for the best. This is perfectly captured in the sequence when two other Kriptonians arrive to earth, while Superman is completing a mission in outer space.The new arrivals (space travelers/adventurers) come to earth as fully grown adults. They don't accept human beings as equals, but see them as inferiors (or as they say in the movie "apes"). They didn't come to coexist with us, humans, peacefully, and much less help humanity solving critical problems. It took me of guard
I never read the comic series of All-Star Superman so I didn't no anything about it except what I saw in the trailers. I saw Public Enemies and Apocalypse, the Superman/Batman team-ups, they were very good. The mood and the action in the story were driven by emotion and that was something I've never seen in a superhero story before, it was true to the character of who Superman is in my mind. It's heart felt, its funny, it has action and romance, its one of the best works from Dewayne McDuffie who recently deceased. The best Superman story I have ever seen a must for your collection.

The BEST Wrestling Video Game In Recent Years!!!
Alright, let me get right to it.The Good:-The gameplay in this title is absolutely top-notch-The graphics/animation style adds a unique and fresh flair to the game itself.-The different type of modes available to be played are very entertaining and should keep one entertained for many many hours.-The amount of superstars/legends available on the roster are absolutely incredible. Finally, they get it right with the addition of Ricky Steamboat and "Macho Man" Randy Savage.The Bad:-Controls. Now don't get me wrong, the controls are actually a lot better than they have been in other titles like Smackdown vs. Raw and Legends of Wrestlemania, however some of the moves are still a little bit tricky to "pull off." Yet with a bit of practice and timing, it will become easier.-Sometimes the load times can be a bit repetitive. Surprisingly deep combat, unsiprisngly shallow everything else
I'm an old school wrestling fan. I was pre-teen during Hulkamania and had lost touch with wrestling until the late 90's during the Rock/Stone Cold era. Since their retirement, I haven't watched much at all. WWF All Stars (it's always going to be WWF for me) reminded my of the arcade cabinets back in the late 80's and doesn't dissapoint in delivering and awesome arcade experience."Path of Champions" mode is a simple 10 match story mode with 3 different versions. In theory, you can play all three modes with one character and unlock 3 costumes (among other things). "Fantasy Warfare" challenges are awesome. Not so much for the matches, but the video mash ups that pit a legend against a current performer. Watching these videos, even if just for the nostalgia are really great. Potential to be a great arcade style game
Gameplay is definatly more like Wrestlemania the Arcade Game, or Legends of Wrestlemania with a lot more gameplay, but the combo's, chain reversals, and graphics are awesome. The controls do take some getting used to, but having a lot of fun playing and should be a great game against other players. Lot less options compared to Smackdown vs Raw, but the matchups are a lot more exciting. Now there are a few superstars who make less sense, like Kofi and Drew in this game, however, look at how many mid carders are "legends" and you'll see they would fit right in. But then you take Rowdy Roddy Piper against Drew, that does make sense. The Create a Superstar is less detailed than Smackdown vs Raw, but some options were corny, so it's fine. I would say rent it before you buy it, because it may not appeal to everyone, but it is definatly more than just an arcade version of the game, you can kick out of pins, you can break up pins, and KO's from finishers make for some extra depth.

I moved into my first house and wanted to get started with some perennial plants. But the variety out there was staggering! My library had some very comprehensive sources, but mostly I found them intimidating -- too many options, too much information to sort through!Then I discovered "Perennial All-Stars." I'm so covetous of this book that I went out and bought it, even though there's a copy available in my local library. The book begins with a number of lists, the type of sun/shade they prefer, their flowering season, those that attract butterflies and birds, by flower color... this book's got a list for anything I could think of!Then each of the all-star plants has two pages devoted to it. Fantastic organization and really easy to use.
As a novice gardener, I found this book to be the best of the 10 or so I've looked at to educate myself. Fantastically easy to use. The best feature: the many lists that cover categories such as "Best for Shade," "Fragrant Perennials," etc. Having plants listed in each category helped me narrow down the perennials that made the most sense for the constraints of my yard. In addition, it was great to have a photo of every flower in the book (most books DON'T do this) and the information included in each perennial's profile was very helpful and concise. I could learn, at a glance, the best planting/siting conditions and also get an idea of companion plants to use. I wish more flower & plant books were organized the same way this book is organized and formatted!! One improvement for this book in the next edition: put the summary info from the "Spotlight" section on a computer-readable file so that readers can electronically arrange...

A Beautiful Overview of the Most Popular Perennials
This beautiful book will be a prized addition to my collection. The photos are breathtaking. Each section dedicated to a different perennial tells the reader how to grow it, how to propagate it, where the perennial should be planted and when, and what other flowers would be great companions to the highlighted plant. Mr. Cox has divided the plants into different categories, some of which include seasonal blooming, height ranges, color groups, location (sunny/shady), and even those that are fragrant and attract hummers and butterflies. I will definitely add Mr. Cox's other books to my wishlist!

Allstar Performance ALL10120 Safety Wire Twister PlierThese safety wire pliers have a tapered tip that is useful for pushing/flattening the cut end of the twisted wires. The locking mechanism is made of metal, as is the shaft that looks like a drill bit. However, the end cap for the knob is made of chromed plastic that seems to be glued to the shaft. I was expecting a metal cap at this price level, so I would recommend going to Harbor Freight or another local hardware store and pick up one of the cheaper tools.Overall: 3/5 stars, it works fine for a shadetree mechanic, but I don't like the plastic knob. It should have been made of metal at this price

Works wonderfully!
We recently sold the old, rarely-used truck that took up one half of our 2-car garage and I was able, for the first time in my life, to have a garage stall for my car. I was very excited, as we live in a snow belt state and I've spent many, many hours in the past 10+ years scraped ice and snow off my car in the morning. However, when my SO bought the house as a single man, he didn't care that the garage door opener (installed in 1988) had only one remote. Terrific Remotes!
I ordered these replacement remotes after struggling for months with very old original equipment remote that came with the garage door openers and which had simply worn out. I am pleased to report that programming the new remotes was a breeze. Couldn't have been easier. And, they have been working perfectly. The new technology (the old remotes were about 25 years old) is clearly evident in the quick response of the door opener to the signal. Just as importantly, I was extremely pleased with the service and delivery I received from ASP Doors, the Amazon partner from which I ordered the remotes. They were very willing to talk with me about my purchase beforehand, and the delivery of the new units was very fast. I highly recommend this product and this vendor.

Protect your boys down there and get a real cup. I really think goalies can now protect themselves and still be just as quick in the goal. There can be no fear of the shot going in and no fear of getting hit with the ball. Just don’t wear baseball shin pads or anything too bulky as they will actually slow you down. The most important part about playing goalie is being completely present in the moment and not “thinking”. Good goalie gloves with thumb protection.
